This was our first ever homestay experience and it was just amazing . The owner and family were very cordial and hospitality was up to the mark . The owner kept communication at its best whenever needed . He treated us like his family . So the overall experience was good . Would love to visit them again .

We had a wonderful stay as a family of five on our very first outing together, and this experience couldn’t have been more perfect. The host Nirmalaji was incredibly helpful, courteous, and always had a warm smile to greet us. They were quick to respond whenever we needed assistance and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The place itself has a charming vintage vibe, beautifully decorated with timeless antiques that give it so much character. Every corner felt thoughtfully arranged and inviting. It was more than just a stay—it felt like stepping into a peaceful, well-loved space. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy, welcoming retreat. Most of the time we preferred to eat the the stay as the food was delicious, homely and very fairly priced. We ordered lavish dinners to homely simple lunch like khichdi and they delivered everytime. It is situated in the peaceful part of Udaipur and places to visits are at 10-15 mins distance which was perfect for us.

The hosts created this incredibly beautiful home in the heart of old town Udaipur very convenient for visits to palace and other sights and shopping in the old town markets. Everything is up to Western standard and the aesthetics is stunningly gorgeous! Wow The caretaker, Mr. Bhagwati and his wife speaks excellent English and was most helpful in coordinating everything, including transportation, booking of dinners and suggestions of sites to see. They even bought groceries for me to make food at home. It was lovely to have a functional kitchen and ample living room space to lounge in. Both bedrooms have their own en-suite and the terrace provided great view of the old city Neighborhood and sunny spots to relax in and have breakfast provided and made by the caretakers every morning ! It was great to have laundry facilities as well. We stayed 12 days in total and thoroughly enjoyed living in old town at Smiling sparrow ! We had a wonderful stay! The pool was fantastic and available as promised, making for a relaxing experience. The host was incredibly nice and always ready to help with anything we needed. The staff was equally great—friendly and attentive. The location was perfect—peaceful and secluded, yet conveniently close to the city. Overall, a great experience, and we’d definitely recommend it to others!

The property is at an awesome location surrounded by hills. The sunset was pretty spectacular from the rooftop. It was clean and tidy. The host was very responsive. Caretaker was helpful as well. The photos don’t really do justice to the property. It is much better in person. Wish to visit again for longer duration.

Easy check-in, spotless, roomier than the pictures. All amenities. Great bath accessories, good internet and online TV was a nice touch. I'm a light sleeper and their was zero extraneous noise. I was most impressed by Mr. A's responsiveness to any query. Great transportation recommendations.

It was an amazing get away from city cluster. Rohan was well before our check in time to help us for our stay and guide us about the city and things to do. All the care takers were always on their feet to help with all the things. Rooms were clean with lavish interiors Location of the villa is breathtaking. It was a complete go to place. Highly recommend!

Wonderful place with right by the lake. All of old Udaipur easily accessible within minutes. Also the hosts also provided us with complimentary breakfast and gave a small token of love which was very sweet of them. Do checkout!

We had the most wonderful time at Astha and Heman’s place! The home is spacious and clean, with lots of natural light. It is centrally located with most attractions only a 5 to 10-minute ride away. The locality is fully residential so it’s quiet and safe. Astha and Heman were exceptional hosts—responsive, gracious and always ready to assist with any inquiries. A lovely experience!
