Welcome to The Rustic Escape Farm Retreat where time is spent refreshing the mind in the great outdoors. Our off grid eco friendly stargazing dome is hidden amongst the forest on 83 acres of breath taking views. Take a stroll on our groomed trails or come up and visit our hobby farm with highland cows, goats and mini horse. The centrepiece is access to the soft sandy beach with a shallow entry to Lake Nipissing. Our cedar barrel sauna with window provides a backdrop for some of the best sunsets and becomes a magical expanse in the winter months. Centrally located a short stroll to North Bay's best restaurants, a LCBO, and grocery.

Over 300 acres of privately owned land by the host plus over 700 acres of attached public crown lots accessible through private holdings, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts/nature lovers, as a launch pad into Algonquin Park, or as a quite retreat into the forest. Winter Activities and Uses Include: snowmobiling, ice fishing at a large selection of local lakes, snow shoeing etc.

Lakeside Guesthouse

Our home is situated 10 minutes from the friendly city of North Bay on the shores of beautiful Trout Lake. We have over 1600 sq. ft. of living space that has been recently renovated with high end finishes. The Airbnb is the complete ground floor just steps from the water. The hosts live on the top floor and have separate entrances. Small pets are allowed but not on the furniture and beds. We do expect that you clean up after them. There is a $20 pet fee for with the extra cleaning.

Enjoy over 70 acres in nature all to yourself. A wonderful peaceful escape for anyone. Located right on the South River.
