We had a wonderful stay, the views and surrounding area are stunning. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing short break in the sunshine, wish we could have stayed longer - perhaps next year as would love a return visit! Thanks

The property was beautiful and so well located. Very comfortable and clean. The bbq out the back was a great extra! Our two wee ones had a ball! We’d definitely book again as it was delightful!

Port Isaac is tranquil with stunning views. Our host listed directions, thus we found it straight away, no falling out which made a great start to our get away break. The property was homely with fantastic stocked kitchen, every thing was to hand making cooking food enjoyable. There was folder with great information of eateries, places to visit and info in doctors , chemists etc. Beds were very comfortable, great sleep was had by all. Can’t wait to go back next year. Jon’s place was perfect for a weekend getaway. The villa had everything we needed, including towels, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. It was a few minutes downhill to pubs and cafes and everyone we met was friendly. Ideally located just 20 minutes from Cheddar Gorge, which was our main reason for visiting the area. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed with our two kids (7 and 4 years) and had a great week. The apartment was a good size with a really nice view of the tree’s from the main bedroom, there's a great view of the sea from the apartment and balcony area as well. The balcony is big and really makes the most of the lovely surroundings. The showers good and the kitchens well stocked with utensils, crockery etc. The beach is great and is only an easy short stroll away, the waves can be heard from the apartment. The beach bar / cafe was open 09:00-22:00 every day and was decent aswell. Nice easy communication with the host who was responsive with any messages. Cheers for a nice stay!

Lovely summer house right next to the beach and walkable to Looe. We had enough space for us and our two kids and also enjoyed an open terrace with sea view. The instructions were very clear and we had no problem finding the place. Pay attention that there are no towels (it was stated in the description, but I was not attentive enough to notice it), luckily we brought some towels for us. Would be lovely if there were some basics in the kitchen like salt, couple teabags and coffee. Otherwise kitchen was well equipped and we spent great Easter weekend in the house.

Kirsten and Ben's house is a hidden gem. You can tell a lot of care and love has gone into it and the photos don't do it justice - the views and sunsets are stunning. It really is amazing and was perfect for us. The living areas are both really spacious and bright with nice big bi-folds. We found the layout of the house ideal for our group, and we were all able to find a corner to ourselves when we wanted. The house was spotlessly clean and everything was brand new. The kitchen had everything we needed and the stocked cupboard was a bonus as it was great not having to buy things like herbs and oil. The bedrooms were ideal and the beds were both very comfy. We needed the sofabed too which Kirsten arranged. Everyone slept well and we all loved waking up to a sea view. Outside had so many sunny seating areas and the house was basically on the beach which meant we really felt like we were on a seaside holiday. It really is amazing, we loved it and can't wait to come back.

Stunning house in a gorgeous village just a short train outside of Exeter. Ideal and comfortable for our group of 11 to sleep, eat, relax and then travel into the city for an event over the weekend. Richard was excellent throughout, communicated well and was exceptionally welcoming. The house is exceptionally well equipped and more than suitable for our needs. Highly recommended.

Rose Cottage is a lovely, old fashioned, quirky cottage - with lots of interesting objet d’art to discover throughout your time there. I loved how it is tucked away from the street, making it a really private space. Danielle was really informative about the surrounding areas and was on hand for queries. The living space downstairs is really relaxing (two of us learnt how to play chess in the lounge!) The outdoor space is really valuable as, I should imagine, in Appledore having a big garden is a real treat. The location is amazing - a minute’s stroll down to the quay - with the wonderful local shop, John’s, a stone’s throw away. We had fantastic weather, having lots of hot beach days in Croyde and Saunton Sands, but also loved catching the 5 minute ferry across to Instow village and beach. The attics bedrooms were a little warm (it was a very hot week), but Danielle kindly provided us with a fan which certainly helped on the top floor. Appledore is a magical place with beautiful cottages, great restaurants and Sylvester’s fish and chips are scrumptious - the first time I think I have ever managed to eat a whole battered cod! Thanks Danielle for a truly wonderful week’s holiday with the family.

The hosts were great straight from the off, quick responses and really helpful. Information received beforehand was really helpful in our planning and made for a great stay. The property is great, very big without losing any style or cosiness. Large rooms and the hosts had prepped the rooms and the dining area specific to our groups’ size and needs, which was very helpful. The group spaces provide for flexibility especially useful with a large group with a significant number of children and the kitchen is excellent. Probably the best equipped and easy to use kitchen we’ve had in almost 10 years of spending New Years together as a group.

I have to come clean - I am an enthusiast of Penarth, the architecture of the town, the community feel, and everything about the place. Sarah's place, being among the oldest houses in the town, was a must for all the things I was looking for. Sarah herself is friendly and has clearly put a lot of herself into the house. My journey time to Penarth could have been subject to delays, being more than 500 miles... but we had good communication and met up without difficulty at the house. All in all, the house was cosy and well appointed. It also was a great base for strolling into Penarth Town centre and even, across the barrage, to Butetown and even Cardiff. I would thoroughly recommend Sara's house for your stay.

We loved its quirkiness, but Weeke Barton is an old building with uneven floors and low ceilings and spiral staircases which were a challenge. The stairs didn’t defeat us, but they are tricky. The rooms are warm even when a log fire is needed, which is recommended, and the beds are very comfy. All the bedrooms are great and full of history and character, which is the same for the whole of Weeke Barton. The location is also ideal for exploring Dartmoor, for riverside running and good food pubs. There is enough to do locally when it rains, and perfect walks for when it’s sunny. Thanks to Jo and Sam for the local information and Winston for the entertainment.

Shackled-Am-Not is definitely at the top of places we have stayed at. From the luxurious kitchen with plenty of kitchen gadgets and lots of equipment for the whole family, to the beautiful lounge area with plenty of seating for everyone to have a great catch up on the evening. The bedrooms were so clean and comfortable, the en-suite bathrooms was a lovely luxury. We enjoyed the games room playing pool and darts. Would like to say a massive thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful home, we will definitely recommend it to our friends and family and would love to stay again. A lovely house, in a quiet location. Stunning views from the master bedroom and living room area. An added bonus was the children's park located a stones through away, which we used everyday for my 4 year old and 18 month old. An easy check in and check out process. The beds were super comfy! a pleasant and peaceful break!

Lovely cottage for our trip. The downstairs bedroom was lovely as our parents struggle with stairs and has a bathroom as well. The kitchen was just ideal in terms of what we needed. The park had loads of things to do. Our little one loved the swimming pool. A nice place to stay for a small family

Just back from a lovely stay at Donnas holiday home. The lodge was impeccably clean and really spacious. It had everything we needed to be able to self cater and was close to the town to be able to eat out too. The site was lovely and the staff in the bar/restaurant were very welcoming. The lodge is next to the play park and onsite eatery. The swimming pool is really close, only a couple of minutes walk. Donnas communication was excellent and the key safe worked really well. Had a great few days away and the lodge was really cosy on the rainy days we had. On a sunny day the decking and outside seating would have been amazing. Su h a great place for bringing a dog along too.Thank you for a wonderful stay xxx

We had the best two weeks staying in Brian’s house. The location was so beautiful and the coastal walks just perfect in the sunshine. Our kids loved using the pool. Brian was so responsive and helpful when we had questions. I would highly recommend this house. Our favourite thing was the field walk to the beach and the beautiful quiet beach. Will be back!

Really lovely, and spacious, holiday accommodation. Clean with good facilities. Quiet but close to local amenities a short drive away and next too Porth beach. Would happily stay again.
