The 90 ha property is situated just outside the quaint village of Cercal do Alentejo and is surrounded by the meadows and ancient cork-oak trees that are iconic to this part of Portugal. The tracks that pass the property and lead into the scenic surroundings provide ample opportunities for hiking/biking, and the beautiful beaches of the Alentejan Coast are a short drive away.

Finca Abacate is ideally situated in a rural location only a short walk from the towns beautiful beaches and local facilities. Positioned in the garden of Casa Abacate B&B the finca has 2 good sized bedrooms, sleeping a maximum of 5 people, family bathroom and kitchen/lounge area complete with a wood burning stove for those chilly evenings. On hot summer days enjoy relaxing on the patio area in the tranquil walled garden, take a cooling dip in the pool or create a feast in the bbq area.

Our home is an agricultural cottage renovated into an open plan loft with 3 bedrooms (2 in mezzanine open style/no privacy/no tall people) located in the traditional Alentejo hills and 30min drive from beaches and surf schools of the Vicentina Coast. The village of Cercal is 10 min drive away. We both grew up in the area since babies and therefore we love coming here throughout the year. Having this 'monte' is a refuge for us which we enjoy to connect with nature and the sea.

Wenn ihr die Ruhe, die Stille und die rustikale Schönheit der Natur liebt seid ihr bei uns genau richtig. Nur das Gespräch von Fuchs und Eule sind nachts zu hören. Wenn der Himmel klar ist können wir das Meer in der Ferne sehen, die Berge der Monchique und die wunderschönsten Sterne am Nachthimmel. Kinder lieben die Nähe zu unseren Tieren.

Restored in 2013 using traditional methods combined with modern comfort. 66m2. Breakfast is included, served on the patio of nearby Casa Principal 15/6-15/9, breakfast items left in the house the rest of the year, including a fresh sourdough bread delivered to your door every morning.

As the name implies, we seize the day by enjoying the calmness of the countryside, the landscape, superb sunsets and amazing starry skies. To the west you can enjoy the Alentejo coast, and to the south the Algarve where we find the most magnificent beaches.
