The host was thoughful and stocked the fridge and pantry with applies, snacks, evey some milk. The convenience of washer and drier next to fridge was appreciated--newish machines, not from the 70s. Plenty of plates, pans, bowls--encouraged us to eat in. Small but cute balcony, great for mornings and sunset. Nice old tile in bathroom (but faucet is modern), lots of towels, can take a bath. The bedroom is larger than the picture shows--it includes a couch and a working table. So, you can use a laptop there or you can be at the kitchen table where two people have room for laptops. Lots of drawers and a closet with lots of hangers. This 3-room mini-house occupying the second floor of a beautiful old house that is central to a great neighborhood and not far from the capitol (and history museum--I will be going back). My wife is a little concerned about hauling luggage up the wooden stairway, I carry it for her, but we aging people need to match lodgings with our comforts.

On the first night of our stay, the power in the area was out due to a storm. Travis showed up right away to make sure the generator started working ASAP. Really appreciate the quick action and local support.

Lovely stay in a well kept-up home. Lisa was so friendly and provided lots of little amenities to make the stay peaceful and just what we needed. So spacious and great for a family and friends trip.

The Home Was Very Astonishing. The beautiful nature and the pond will really have you in awe. I would definitely stay here again and I’d recommend this for anyone who wants to find their inner child again.

Deanna was a great host, lots of clear instructions/directions. We also really appreciated that she was flexible with the check-in/out times! The house is a great place for a large group of family or friends to get together. Lots of bedrooms with plenty of space for everyone to have their own area, but with a large, cozy great room for everyone to be together. Kitchen had everything we needed for a family Christmas - good sized oven and stovetop, Microwave and two full size refrigerator/freezers. The view over the lake is pretty, especially when it freezes over.

Homely and beautiful apartment, centrally located and responsive host. It was a great two weeks stay and highly recommend for family stay.

My family enjoyed our stay! The unit is spacious and has everything we need for a comfortable week-long stay. Communication was easy and clear. Location is perfect; not too close or too far from all the actions happening in downtown . Highly recommended if you’re looking for a place in Ann Arbor!

Cozy and homey place to spend a night away! The hot tub is awesome and deer are abundant. Would definitely love to come back another weekend.

Spent a beautiful Christmas in the balcony suite. Had all the space and amenities of home. We were able to make an entire Christmas dinner as well as get a beautiful view of all the Christmas lights from our windows. Space was just as described and it could not have been more cozy with the winter season. Would happily stay here again any time!

We were in town for my Mothers funeral. We originally were staying at another Airbnb that wasn't able to extend our reservation. Rachel not only confirmed our new reservation within minutes, but also allowed us to go straight from check out at the other place to check in at her place without waiting around for several hours. She was also extremely helpful when we had an emergent situation with our dog, Dexter. The house is absolutely beautiful and even though you're only a few minutes outside of town it feels super secluded and private. Wonderful host, wonderful house.

We had a great stay at Kris' place! The place was even better than we expected. Check-in was very easy and Kris was friendly and responsive. We had plenty of room for 3 adults and were very comfortable in the space. We stayed for almost 3 weeks and never felt cramped. I especially loved that the bathroom space was large and everything felt new and super clean. Plenty of parking space & quiet surroundings. The neighborhood is nice and convenient to shopping and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

This was a great place to stay and go to a game.
