My fiancé and I were blown away by the beauty of The Lakehouse and hospitality of Sherry & David during our stay. By far the best AirBnB experience we’ve had to date, as the house was full of character, in the perfect location for us (close to the RDU airport and downtown Chapel Hill), and Sherry & David were incredible hosts. They were great communicating leading up to and during our visit, providing recommendations for restaurants and other things to do in the area. Upon check-in we were upgraded to the Swedish suite, we enjoyed great conversation over a couple of drinks, and were treated to a 5-star breakfast the next morning, homemade by David himself. Would highly highly recommend, and definitely plan to come back again ourselves. Thanks again, Sherry & David!

I came to Chapel Hill with a few friends for a football weekend. Jessie’s place was well located without being in the middle of a party neighborhood. We found the place to be very comfortable and a perfect home base for our game day. I’d definitely stay there again in the future!

Cute little house. We stayed in the library which had a quaint selection of antique books! It was a little warm in the room itself (but not the hallway), so we just propped the door open for a bit while we read to cool it down before bed.

Great place to stay near downtown Chapel Hill and the UNC Campus. Very easy to walk to several restaurants, stores, etc. House is on a very picturesque tree-lined street. The room is very clean and exactly as described. The bathroom was also very clean. My wife and I would definitely stay here again if we make it to Chapel Hill again.

Incredible place!! I've stayed here several times now, and it's just always such a charming stay extremely close to campus. The details are perfect, and the whole property is divine. I loved the common areas and the easy parking. Will continue to stay here in the future!

It is hard to believe that such an amazing place is so close to everything in Chapel Hill. The lake view from our room (French Master) was incredible and the house itself had everything we could want. We stayed here for our anniversary and would higly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a convienent but special weekend. Sherry was very responsive and the whole process from booking, checking in, and checking out was well organized and super easy. We will be back!

What a great place to stay. Stephen's apartment is an eclectic, well-curated happy place. The gardens and backyard are beautifully and thoughtfully landscaped. We will be back. My friend and I spent two nights at Stephen's. We had traveled from Charlottesville, VA (after a road trip the previous weekend from Cape Cod). Stephen was warm and welcoming, and I wish we had a little more time there -We will be back in the fall. We didn't get to meet Boomer this time, but definitely next time.

LOCATION & PRICING! This Air BNB was the cutest! The location could not be beat, located well within walking distance to everything Chapel Hill had to offer. The price was affordable and well worth it for the location. The room itself met expectations. Nothing incredible to write about. The A/C worked, it was quiet, and the hot water worked. The only negatives I would say would have to be the mattress felt like it was made of cardboard, and the lack of extra towels/bathmats left you and the room dripping after a shower. Overall, I would happily stay here again, especially if you’re on a budget. Well worth it!

I had an amazing experience staying here! The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making check-in and check-out smooth and easy. The location was perfect, close to everything I needed but still nice and quiet at night. I really appreciated the extra touches like fresh towels, a fully stocked kitchen, and local recommendations. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Debbie is wonderful and the place is beautiful. Felt right at home from the second we walked in. Everything is as described and it just felt good being there. Beautiful back yard, breakfast the next day was delicious, and the room was cute and comfy. Debbie also was able to give us great local recommendations that we pursued later.

Host is really friendly providing all the information .It was a comfortable stay.

We only stayed one night with Sherry and David, but my girlfriend and I were very impressed with the accommodations. The hosts were very warm and helpful. Their house is extravagant and clean. I hooe to stay longer in the future.

My family and I had a delightful stay here. Our 21-month-old som had a fantastic time, especially enjoying the toys and the company of the host’s daughters. The daughters are adorable and chickens are charming, adding a special touch to our experience. We loved the special activities, like collecting fresh eggs from the coop and cooking with them.
