There is direct access to the sea for paddle boarding, wind surfing or sailing in the bay. Return to the cottage to an open fire. The extensive grounds also allow for simple walks or yoga. The cottage retains some of it's 19th century charm but has been renovated to be a practical and comfortable home.

The Byre, Upper Faulds, Burray

Self-catering accommodation in a converted byre, set in the grounds of our family home. About a 10 minute drive from St Margaret's Hope ferry terminal. A perfect location for viewing local wildlife or visiting archaeological sites such as the"Tomb of the Eagles", or wartime sites such as Hoxa Head and the Italian Chapel. A 20 minutes walk from 3 beaches and the Sands Hotel Bar and Restaurant. A 20 minute drive to Kirkwall, over the Churchill Barriers with their historic shipwrecks.

Little Crofty Cottage is a small open plan detached bungalow beside our family home and a small working croft where you have your own space in a quiet countryside location. The perfect setting for exploring all the wonderful sights that Orkney has to offer. Situated 5 minutes drive from Kirkwall airport and 10 minutes drive from Kirkwall town centre. An abundance of country walks and beaches nearby with a lovely cafe a few minutes drive away, you won't be short on something to do.

In the West mainland area called Evie, we are around 20 minutes’ drive from both Kirkwall and Stromness which are the two main towns on the mainland Orkney. Brymire Cottage is a unique and charming cottage, surrounded by farm land and situated in the parish of Tankerness in the East Mainland of Orkney; approximately 2 miles from Kirkwall Airport and 5 miles from Kirkwall Town Centre. Make sure your booking is adequate length for all you want to see and do; as many guests advise that a guest requires at least a four night stay or longer to appreciate all that Orkney has to offer.

Feawell Self Catering Cottage, Stromness, Orkney

Just 1.5miles from Stromness, Feawell is a semi detached cottage sleeping three, in an idyllic location overlooking Orphir Hills and Scapa Flow. We have a large vegetable garden and produce is available to our guests free of charge when in season. Shellfish are also available from our creel boat at a small price. We have a garden and patio area for our guests use and outbuildings suitable for bikes, canoes etc.
