A calm lake chalet in wood, between two regional parks, minutes walk from nature trials and off the beaten path. East windows let the happy morning light on natural materials and heated floors. In the evening, a cozy cinema with ambient sound by a fireplace, a second media room with a turntable ideal for music. Outdoors, a hot tub, a wood-burning sauna, a fireplace by the lake and a slide. Cross-country ski, snowshoe trails are minutes’ walk, and snowmobile routes start right at the driveway.

The two bedrooms accommodate 4 guests comfortably. We have high-speed wireless internet, satellite and Roku TV. All essentials supplied. Hiking, bicycle, ATV and sled trails along with ski hills are all within short driving distance. Your dog is welcome here! Winter tires needed on snowy days.

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.
