Stunning house, incredible host and support when needed. Had a door sticking on arrival, and Hanel had a locksmith around within 30 minutes to fix it and make our stay more comfortable. The location is great, beach across the road is stunning for swimming. We really enjoyed our time in Gordons Bay and this beautiful home.

We had a wonderful stay at Akwa house. There are plenty of spaces for the kids to relax and have fun while the adults could sit in the lounge overlooking the beautiful views. We loved the quiet location and family-friendly feel of the street. The kitchen was well stocked and we slept very comfortably in all the rooms. I would definitely recommend Akwa house to anyone looking for a great home right close to the beach.

Lovely home on the Breede, great position and wonderful deck and braai area. Everything you need and the use of the SUPs and canoe is a bonus!

We stayed over for Easter & had a great time. I felt a little unwell, so the amazing bedding & bed was very appreciated. Murray's place was absolutely perfect. Check in was a breeze. The house is spotless and even better than the pictures. The kitchen has everything you can think of and we loved making our own pizzas in the pizza oven outside. It is literally down the road from the most beautiful tidal pool and beach.

The accomodation was one of the best I have ever had. The views from the cottage extraordinary. The cottage is decorated so tastefully. The colours choosen, the paintings and the deco , everything with the personal touch you do not find often in a BNB. Also equipped with everything in the kitchen and bathroom. Thank you very much. One of our best Airbnb stays in recent history! We love Hermanus and visit regularly. Disa cottage is beautiful cosy cottage surrounded by a beautiful lush garden. The cottage had everything it said it and and more. Toinette was proactive and responseive with communication. Loki the cat was the cutest host! We had an awesome stay! We will definitely be back!

Philip was such a gratious host! We felt right at home end relaxed, because this house has everything. We didn't want for anything. Philip even lent us canoes, life jackets for the kids, etc to enjoy some water sport in the lagoon. The kids played outside for hours! We'll definitely be coming back. I absolutely loved my stay. The farm is so scenic and peaceful. The cottage is much bigger than it looks on the photos. It had everything I needed and was very comfortable. There are loads to see and do. Especially if you love birds. Beautiful and easy walking trails. Perfect to break away. The hosts are kind, helpful and passionate about the farm.

We would definitely stay here again! The location among the vineyard was really quiet and nice. The cottages are situated close to each other but still private. Each bedroom had an en suite bathroom with a rain shower and lots of space. The furniture and beds were comfy and cozy. The braai areas were great and the wood fired hot tub was such a treat. Shout out to Lourens for the wine, he’s clearly a talented winemaker with an excellent sense of the craft and has a bright future as a representative of South Africa’s wine scene on the international stage. Lizelle was a great host and was tolerant of all my questions. The entire territory was quaint and there were two hiking trails and even a canoe and SUP by the river. Book here. You won’t regret it.

The most perfect location with serene views and peaceful surroundings. Everything you need is right there, a small river flowing past the house to swim in, beautiful and easy walks through the vineyard and the best of all a hot tub anytime you want it! The cottage is cute, clean and many amenities available to use. Will definitely be back at this location.

Lovely location, remote enough for nature lovers but just 15min from Gansbaai for groceries, etc. Plenty of scenic walks for all fitness levels, multiple swimming spots, nearby Lomond wine farm has great MTB trails. The cottage is spacious and comfortable, the covered outdoor seating area with braai is a relaxing vibe. Would revisit for sure.

We loved the stay at the 'green' cottage. Lea was super friendly and helpful with checkin and any advise on activities to do around the area. Our 2 year old was in heaven listening to the lions roaring from the neighbour's animal sanctuary, after dark. Lea kindly allowed us to drive through their farm to view the Zebra and Eiland, 4x4 probably recommended. The cottage was clean and kitted out for our short stay. A braai under the closed verandah made a rainy night magical. we hope to be back.

Very quiet and peaceful. Off the beaten path and unplugged from reality. We really enjoyed it.

Very friendly homestay with amazing views. Peaceful and quiet with a lovely big yard. It is surrounded by a picturesque countryside with beautiful views across the valley.Location was beautiful and there was lots to do nearby. We were able to contact Amelia and Jacques easily and they were very helpful; from restaurant & activity recommendations to use of the cottage amenities. We had plenty of room for two adults; two kids & two infants. Just what we need to get away from the hustle & bustle of city life.A very beautiful & spacious cabin; we will certainly be going back as there is so much more activities and wine farms we left without visiting.

We had such a wonderful stay at Magda's place, which is nestled in Meerenbosch, with easy access to the lagoon. Beautiful surrounds, great amenities at the lodge, and the cabin has everything you could need for a happy, easy and fun holiday. The kitchen is so well stocked and the cabin is fantastic. Just note there is no wifi, but we were aware of that beforehand. The wild horses are a special treat. Magda is a great host, responsive and helpful and friendly!

A friend and I needed a few days to get away and relax. This was the perfect place for us. Quiet and serene. We enjoyed walking a bit and the swimming pool was so nice on a hot day. The house and kitchen are well set up and the lounge furniture is very comfortable. Great care has been taken to make sure that guests are very comfortable!
