We have plenty of walking trails, or for the horse lovers we have three fenced pastures. Located about 20 minutes from the Ark Encounter, our Gopher Wood Getaway cabin offers a rustic and picturesque place for families to stay near the Ark. Enjoy 500 sq ft of living space inside the cabin that includes a fully equipped kitchen, a bunk room and full bathroom. Our cabin has heating, AC and electric over looking 84 acres of Kentucky Bluegrass. NOTE: Our cabins are truly a GETAWAY as we do NOT have any wi-fi or TV in them. Enjoy an unplugged getaway NEAR the Ark Encounter.

Our property provides a tranquil retreat for couples, offering a clean and cozy atmosphere. Ideal for those seeking a city escape, it is perfectly sized for two. Located at the end of a private lane, our small family farm boasts a serene setting, complete with a lovely pond and various farm animals. We are conveniently located near the Ark Encounter, with Cincinnati, Lexington, and Louisville easily accessible. Several bourbon distilleries are within less than an hour's drive.

The Cute Little House Near The Ark Encounter

The "Little House" is a cute 1 bedroom house located on our farm in a beautiful country setting with 6 acres of outdoor space for relaxing. It is separate from our home and is all yours. It is conveniently located only 8 miles from the Ark Encounter and you only need to make one turn to get there. We have chickens, ducks, turkeys, a horse, and 11 goats. We also have a 1/2 mile nature trail to explore with a scavenger hunt, and a campfire spot with free firewood.
