You will look down upon crashing waves and out across the Bay to Hilo and to the surfers gliding down the silver waves. The view is dramatic but relaxing. During whale season, this is the best possible location for viewing. Sometimes they come so close you can look into their eyes. The house is fully equipped and air-conditioned. . My vacation rental is a spacious, beautifully-furnished cottage, next to my home, on 1/2 acre in a small, upscale community just two miles north of the historic whaling town of Hilo. Honolii Beach, the popular eastside surf spot, is a five-minute walk down a one-lane road. Taxes are paid upon arrival.
