The Empty Nest is awaiting guests who need some R&R, are in town for an event, or just need a change of scenery. We are 35 minutes from Notre Dame, 45 minutes to Warren Dunes, 15 minutes from IN State Line, and 20 minutes from Swiss Valley Ski Resort. The house is in close proximity to many all sport lakes, fishing lakes, snowmobile trails, public beach, and small town shops & restaurants. There are a few county parks near and a Casino within 15 minutes driving distance for extra entertainment!

My home is situated in a peaceful rural setting. Guests can enjoy the family room, dining room, living room, and fully equipped kitchen, with all bedrooms located on the second floor. Surrounded by beautiful gardens filled with wildlife and nature, the area is close to lakes like Diamond Lake, historic sites, and Amish country.

Come for a relaxing getaway in the country. Cook in our small kitchenette or use our Blackstone or fire pit. Located in a small hobby farm setting with sheep roaming the pasture. We also have a couple cats that claim the pool area as their own. The long driveway and gravel road are perfect for a leisurely stroll to enjoy the great outdoors. Take a swim in the pool or a soak in the hot tub and let the worries of life melt away during your stay.

Great Room has 14' redwood plank cathedral ceiling; fireplace at one end, kitchen at the other. Hardwood flooring throughout. Sunporch (with new sofa and Loveseat) faces the lake, with wrap-around deck beyond that. New Split/Mini ac/heat system.
