Initially, I was heavily skeptical because the photo just looked too good and maybe the place wouldn't match the description. But I was extremely wrong. This place not only has a living space that completely blew me away with handcrafted furnitures, but everything is extremely well kept and clean, not to mention the amazing hospitality that we received from both K'Tum and Ed that makes us feel extremely welcomed with their souvenirs, complimentary drinks and breakfast. The best thing about this place is probably the kitchen because there really is every kitchen utensils or tools you need to cook for your family or loved ones, not to mention the vast amount of beautiful plates within the cabinets that elevated our Valentine's date even more. We are extremely delighted to have found, stayed, and enjoyed Rumor has it and will probably come back again in the near future!

Benny was a super host. I landed in Bangkok a few hours after the earthquake in Myanmar, when it was next to impossible to travel in the city. He helped me get a hotel close to the airport and refunded me for that night. The flat was comfortable, the pool in the building was great, and Benny gave lots of recommendations of where to visit around the area. 10/10

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Central Old Town, and I must say it felt just like home. The accommodation was incredibly comfortable, providing a cozy atmosphere that made my stay truly enjoyable. The cleanliness was impeccable; every corner was spotless, allowing me to relax without any worries. I was also impressed by the spaciousness of the rooms, which offered plenty of room to move around and unwind. Additionally, the location was wonderfully peaceful, making it a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I highly recommend Central Old Town for anyone looking for a tranquil and comfortable stay. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

The house four floors and multiple rooms to sleep in and it quite place and peaceful.

Our group had a wonderful stay at Witita’s home. We were a group of 10 and there was lots of space for everyone. The grounds and rooms were very well maintained, and onsite there was a very helpful woman who attended to any issues or questions we had. The pool and garden were so relaxing. I definitely recommend to others wanting an escape from the busyness of Bangkok. Would love to stay here again in the future!

We staid here after traveling Thailand for about 10 days already, and this was my most favorite place that we stayed at. It's right on the river, and the island is amazing. There is a small weekend market, plus a number of regular little shops, cafes, and restaurants on the island. Ko Kret is a hidden gem! So beautiful. I absolutely loved staying here. The rooms are located on the 2nd level of a traditional teak wood home, with it's own (though separated) bathroom, balcony, and seating areas. Rooms are air conditioned, bathroom is not, but that was not an issue for us. The two women are so incredibly kind, and serve a great breakfast each morning! This is a great place to stay for anyone who is looking for a local, quiet, traditional experience. I wish I could stay longer!!! 🥰

Fantastic location and super close to a mall with everything one could need. The host is also extremely responsive and answered questions quickly and efficiently.

WOW, this place is incredible. I was hooked from the pictures but it's even more amazing in real life. We spent so much time in the beautiful yard watching the longtail boats go by. It's such a special environment to be in a quiet neighborhood, just a walk up the street to markets and street food, and have a lush massive garden to relax in. The house itself is immaculate and has so much style. The furniture is so comfortable and our family felt right at home. Thanut was so kind and helpful at checkin and at every communication. We will be staying again!!
