We had a great time for our girls weekend! Very beautiful landscape and property, the house is fully stocked with everything you could need for your stay and more. Comfortable sleeping areas and living spaces. Christine from cottage link was super quick to help us when we needed assistance. Thanks so much for hosting us, we will for sure be booking again 🧡

Myself and a large group of 8 had a wonderful short stay at this cottage! Check in/out was a breeze and so easy. The cottage had everything we had hoped to find all in one place and it exceeded our expectations. You have a real gem on your hands and we were all very comfy and cozy. Lots of room for everyone and the games room in the basement was was so much fun to use. The large sectional was great and we were able to all fit and watch a movie together. All instructions given by the host were very clear and easy to follow. All amenities listed were available and we never felt like anything was missing. Only thing I would let others know to take into consideration is that if you are coming here in the winter, be prepared to shovel the deck and pathways to the hot tub and fire pit if you want to use them of course. Thank you again for everything!

The second time we stayed here. The first was for 12 nights; this time for 8. The cottage is even better than last time, with more amenities outside (i.e. kayaks and hot-tub), as well as a basement section with games and toys if it rained. The kitchen and bedding is solid. Sabina is an excellent host and very responsive. It is a bit more expensive than other cottages, but it is perfect because, a) it is right on the water and there is an excellent dock, with plenty of different water options, b) the kitchen and house in general is well outfitted, with everything you could possibly need, c) its an incredibly private, fully treed lot, in an already quite area, which makes for a nice relaxing time with your family. We will be returning again the next time we are in the area.

Franky was very responsive and helpful during the entire trip! The location was great, and the house was very nice with many things to do.

What a lovely time my friends and I had. The hot tub was glorious, the kitchen was sparkling clean with a great view. Location right by the lake. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for making our time so special.

This is our second time staying here and great place to stay! Lots of supplies in the kitchen, lots of places to sleep and the hot tub is an added bonus. The hosts are so responsive and friendly. We will be back again of course

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the house was clean on arrival, the property is beautiful and private, the hot tub and sauna were a perfect addition. We are so thankful for it being pet-friendly, the dogs loved running around the property and were tired and happy. The hosts were kind enough to set up a Christmas tree for us which was the icing on the cake for a beautiful Christmas getaway. Some small discrepancies in the description, shampoo/conditioner/body wash were not provided for our stay and kitchen was missing some items we assumed would be there (oven mitts, scissors, lids for pots, etc) but we made it work and all-in-all I highly recommend.

Had a relaxing stay with just my boyfriend and I for my birthday. Place was very cute with the little knickknacks all over. Tons of dishes to use of different varieties which I really appreciated. Loved the lounge swing outside, really added to the peaceful atmosphere. We really enjoyed the place, was a great size inside and outside with plenty of games and lots of useful accommodations. Would definitely stay here again.

Natalie’s cabin is the perfect escape from the city. The best part about it is you aren’t driving hours to get there it’s convenient but also just so relaxing and gorgeous! The nature there was exquisite and the land itself is surreal. The place is so clean, spacious, quiet! Natalie has a gorgeous little pond with a dock just perfect to enjoy some wine or your morning coffee. The firepit was so much fun at night with some s’mores. The bbq was well kept! The land is just picturesque. My (then) boyfriend proposed to me on Natalie’s dock and it was just truly magical. I would recommend this property to anyone I could! 5/5 will go back again!

We had a wonderful time at Sarah's beautiful, clean and well equipped house. Sarah was very responsive and helpful, and filled the kitchen with everything we needed, including seasoning, cooking and baking items and more. Also, let's not forget the fresh farm eggs and the herbs garden. Beds are super comfortable as well as all other furniture. We enjoyed the peaceful and beautiful garden and the gazebo, also highly recommended for star gazing at night! Thanks Sarah!

The place was great and with a beautiful lot in the country. A perfect place for a group of a few families with plenty of things to keep kids and teenagers alike busy and entertained.

Our stay at Bala’s place was a fantastic experience. We were a group of 8 including 4 tween aged children. The cottage is very well located , close to Port Perry and around 45 min to Peterborough. Lots of places to visit within the Trent Severn Waterway area. Bala graciously allow us an early check-in. His place is very cute, neat, super clean and had everything we needed to prepare meals and to entertain both children and adults alike. The game room is a great addition to the cottage. Walking distance to Lake Scugog, we were able to have nice walks after a delicious BBQ dinner. The deck and the fire pit allowed us to share quality family time while enjoying nature at its best. Thank you Bala for such a warm welcome with popcorn and soda !!. We appreciated very much your always friendly and promptly response to our needs. I will definitely recommend anyone to have a great and relaxing experience at your cottage. It is worth it !

This beachfront cottage was exactly what we were looking for. The lake views and sunsets were amazing, weather was perfect. The cottage was spacious with plenty of sleeping area for our 5 adults. We enjoyed hanging out on the deck and having evening fires. Plenty of wineries nearby also. Although we weren’t bothered by it, I would mention to others that there is no privacy in the yard. There is a walkway that runs alongside the yard that is very busy with locals walking back and forth to the beach/pjer. Although it did not bother us, some might be looking for a more private getaway. My family and I would definitely stay at the beachfront cottage again!

Kelly is a great host and it was a pleasure to meet her during our stay. She arranged for an earlier check in and a late check out due to our stay being for medical reason. She is very proactive and a great communicator and her attention to details didn’t go unnoticed. There was a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a welcoming card waiting for us upon our arrival. Our home away from home was as pictured. It was nicely furnished, great decor and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom/shower very modern. The TV included several streaming apps which was definitely a plus. The location is in a quiet residential area and within walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants and grocery stores. Would definitely recommend this place and we hope to come back again.

Very charming and rustic cottage with a beautiful backdrop. We stared at the lake for endless hours through the window in the sun room, and enjoyed sunsets sitting on the dock. If you have young kids, this place is a dream come true. Between the adorable kids room filled with toys, puzzles and books, the pirate ship play structure in the yard, and the countless water activities, your little ones will have no shortage of things to do. There's also lots to do in the area. We enjoyed eating and shopping in downtown Port Perry, strawberry picking at a local farm, and the numerous parks and beaches in close proximity. I would definitely recommend and we look forward to returning!

The Bennett House was perfect! Situated on Algonquin Island, it was an easy, flat, 15 minute walk to and from the Ward's Island Ferry Terminal. The ferries run every 30 minutes or so. We noticed 2 restaurants between the ferry and Bennett's house both of which we subsequently tried (as they're the only food available unless you bring your own). The view from Bennett's house was extraordinary in its expansive panorama of the Toronto skyline whether shrouded in fog or shimmering in reflection on the Bay. But also, extremely enjoyable was the constant motion, sight and sound of the scene: airplanes landing and taking off; all matter of waterfowl swimming, diving, mating; Gonkies (residents of Algonquin Island) passing by on bikes pulling carts and dogs while the shore birds built their nests. A guest could sit and stare out at the scene, as we did, for hours on end and/or explore Algonquin and the rest of the islands at their leisure. Thank you Bennett House!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay thanks to Poulomi! The place was spotless, stylish, and exactly as described in the listing. Poulomi was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect—quick replies, helpful local tips, and a warm welcome that made me feel right at home. The attention to detail and hospitality were top-notch. I’d highly recommend staying here and would love to come back again!

Had a lovely stay here with a couple girlfriends. The decor was very cute and the property was peaceful. It was just what we needed and we really enjoyed our time. The sauna was a nice touch and we cold plunged in the lake. The neighbours are very friendly. Would stay here again.

Our stay was fantastic. The White House on the Hill lived up to its billing. The view was spectacular and yes at the top of the hill. Liliana was a great host. Very responsive when we needed her. We had our families their for Christmas and the Holiday, Liliana decorated the house for us. A Christmas tree, decorations and many wonderful things that made us feel like it was our own house for Christmas. We enjoyed the modern kitchen and counter space. The dinning area was spacious and perfect for serving. The family/ Great Room was very cozy. A comfortable leather L couch for us to curl up and enjoy movies. The wood burning stove added so much to the room. The warmth, ambience and smell of the fire was like an old cottage. All wood was provided. Liliana was very gracious letting us have a later check out on January 1. We stayed from December 26th to January 1 and had a fantastic experience. We would recommend the White House on the Hill 5 STARS. We will be there again Rose, Gord & Family

Place turned out exactly like what I expect - cosy, quiet, cottage feeling. My kid (2.5yo) absolutely loved the place and has the best sleep there. Location is incredible - extremely nice neighbourhood and private. Would have stayed longer if not because I've to leave
