Το όνομα της περιοχής σημαίνει "καλή θέα" ή "όμορφη θέα", αναφερόμενο στη θέα που προσφέρει το διαμέρισμα. Είναι μόλις 10 λεπτά από την παραλία του Ρεθύμνου, συγκεκριμένα 850 μέτρα με τα πόδια. Η απόσταση από την παλιά πόλη του Ρεθύμνου είναι περίπου 2 χιλιόμετρα, όπου μπορείτε να δείτε τη διατηρημένη πόλη, καταστήματα, εστιατόρια και όλα τα αξιοθέατα.

The Domicilechania "Venetian Residence" was built in the14th century and is known as the Venetian Rectors Palace. It was also used as the Treasury and the Archives of the Venetian administration. Overlooking the old harbor and the Venetian lighthouse its view is unique. Ideal for one or two couples or families with max. 3 children. The Venetian Residence is the ideal spot to explore the old city of Chania but also the countryside of the region. The nearest beach is 10 min. on foot.

The Old Windmill

The Old Windmill house is just 1h from Chania airport and 1h from Herakleion airport. Located in Adelianos Kampos area, the house is just 15' by car from Rethymno town, 5' from Platanias, and within a short driving (7') or walking (15') distance from the beach. The beautifully-arranged 1-acre property includes a 45 m2 rural house, garden and parking space. The highlight of the property is the 100-year-old windmill, transferred from Lasithi Plateau, once used to water the crops.
