Two of us in town for a memorial service and gathering of friends. The place was great-perfect size-two bedrooms worked for us perfectly-cute place. Minor point is a bathroom typical of these little homes, with a toilet literally right next to the tub/shower with only an inch or two to spare on the sides-made for some interesting "negotiating!" But as I said, this is minor. Shower great! Located in a great neighborhood, peaceful, safe to walk, close to a mall and restaurants etc. Be aware there is a basement tenant- took us by surprise but that was because we didn't read the description fully! They were super quiet and we barely knew anyone else was there. Their apartment is separate from the unit. Definitely recommend the place and Josh was quick to respond to any questions we had. Great front porch for sitting and watching the world, lots of windows, good linens and towels, extra blankets, easy on street parking., Keurig, so very quiet-we would rent again in a heartbeat....

We loved our stay! We came for the Drake relays and to see our college student. it was great to be so close to the University and walkable to shops and restaurants. it was so easy to get in and the place was so comfy and well taken care of.

Great spot for a weekend stay! The location was convenient and we were within a short walk of food and entertainment downtown. The unit itself was spacious and clean. We will stay here again!

LOVED this space!! It’s so cool. Awesome view, beautiful decor, comfiest bed, great location. There’s something so peaceful about the chance to relax in a windowsill so high above the city. 10/10, highly recommend staying here if you get the chance.

This was a great place to stay! We stayed as part of a girl’s weekend, and this place didn’t disappoint. The owners were super communicative and friendly, which was really helpful! I would definitely stay here again! Check in and check out were also seamless!

Seth's place is clean and neat, looking very similar to the pictures posted online. We loved walking the path along the river (at the rear of the house) to a brewery nearby. Everything was as expected and we had a great weekend! Would stay there again.

We were in town for a baseball tournament and wanted extra room to be able to relax. We were able to have some home cooked meals, the kids were able to burn off steam, and everyone got a good nights sleep! Hosts were prompt and friendly with a water heater issue and were flexible with our checkout time when we got tournament details late in the evening. Would recommend and stay again!

The Glenda was fantastic! It was beautiful inside, super clean, and such a cute fun place. The pictures don’t do it justice. We wished we could have stayed longer. If we are ever back in Des Moines, we will definitely stay here again. My family all agreed, the Glenda was one of the nicest Airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed in.

Stayed a week for the State Fair. Very clean, well stocked and mostly new/renovated. Beds were comfy. One was considerably low to the floor, about 8”, a little tuff getting up & down. The driveway and street is narrow. Neighbors parked on street made backing out difficult with large truck. Disappointed with the screened in back patio. It was uncharacteristically dirty with leaves and debris. Washer & dryer in basement, well lit and very clean. WiFi worked great. Plenty of hot water. We would stay again.
