We had such an amazing stay. The place was clean and easy to find. It’s right by the beach with restaurants close by. The host was friendly and accommodating.

Pierre’s place- a stones throw from the beach- is so tastefully decorated with lovely touches that make you feel like home. Pierre was also a fantastic host.

Beautiful location walking distance to the beach. Watching sunrise early morning was blessing with sea view.

We enjoyed our stay, the house was clean, fast internet connection. Beautiful view of the sea We are definitely coming back in December. Although we had an issue with the alarm on our first day but everything was fixed on time.

We had an amazing stay at Olga’s place , it’s very neat and it felt like home away from home.Its right next door to the beach and beach front restaurants, which was excellent for us.

From the friendly welcome to entering perfection, we felt home, the design decor and fine hand meticulously put together to create warmth and style five star service, immediately responsive to questions and needs we had. what stood out the most was how immaculately clean everything was. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay! Lovely stoep and braai area, close to the water. We also caught quite a few fish off the jetty - the kids loved every second. The domestic worker was very friendly and efficient. We’ll definitely be going back!

Wow, Wow Wow , the view of the Bushman’s river and the sea from the lounge and open plan kitchen is breath taking. We took so many photos of the changing tides. We couldn’t believe that we saw 12 ships on the ocean in one hour. Seeing dolphins and a whale was also so special. The birdlife was great , especially seeing and hearing the Lilian’s lovebirds in the aloe tree by the deck. The fully equipped kitchen made our stay really lovely too and our braai’s on the deck were also so enjoyable. The house being in a cul da sac was ideal for the kids to be able to ride their bikes safely outside. The walk to the marina took only 10 minutes , where we spent a morning on the river. Merryhill feels so safe, quite and tranquil. Ashleigh, was amazing. So helpful , responsive and went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. A beautiful BnB, will definitely recommend to our friends.

To Ann, what a nice, friendly and reliable host you are. The house is beautiful and it had everything we needed. The electrical blankets in every room was a major BONUS, they were exactly what we needed for the cold weather in June. To Marian, thank you so much for everything Mam… you were super gracious, warm and friendly. Will definitely be coming back with my family.

It's the perfect place for a most enjoyable family holiday! The peaceful setting right on the Kowie River bank provides for the most beautiful views, which are especially enjoyable whilst sipping on a G&T around a braai! Everything needed is right at your fingertips. We will be back soon!

Great location and value for money for a larger group. Gorgeous views from the deck and an easy walk down to the river. We loved it!

beautiful house on the banks of the river. comfortable even for a big family. spacious ,with modern finishes. loved the canoeing kids loved the nearby beach approx 1.2km from the house as well. nearest good shop is in port alfred though we didn't need anything in our 3 days . time went so fast wish we could start it all again lol.

Absolutely beautiful views and a very spacious & comfortable home. We hardly ever saw another person in the neighborhood but there was plenty of wildlife including 4 giraffe just off the master bedroom window. I would have been a nervous wreck if I had small children but mine are all older & they enjoyed the pool and the pool table. Everything was easy to find/operate and there wasn’t an exhaustive check out list which is always appreciated. Thank you to Thomas for sharing your home and to Regina for getting the keys checked in & out easily.

The place is so beautiful 😍 ,neat and clean. It's home away from home. Melisa is such a lovely host even though we did not meet ,we met her staff such a lovely and helpful lady. My family and I enjoyed our stay ❤️.

Melissa’s place was worth every penny. I would definitely stay there again and definitely recommend it to anyone else. The apartment is stunning with beautiful views and super clean. I wish we were there for longer but I now have a first option anytime we in Port Alfred. She’s also an amazing host, she had water there for us because you shouldn’t drink from the tap. Check in and check out we’re also so seamless.

We had a great stay at this wonderful house. Unbeatable views of the beach and the sound of the sea to sooth your soul. Erik is a great host, friendly and helpful. Everything we needed was there. You cannot beat the location. Private and serene. I can highly recommend this place.
