Victoria's place in Rangeley is outstanding. The layout of the house is great, has everything you could need, is well decorated with appealing architecture and a spectacular view of the lake from above. Easy to get to, was a perfect location for our work trip in the area. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood within a sizable nature preserve, with a pleasant walk to the common lake access.

We enjoyed the stay for our snowmobile trip. Great space and our group enjoyed the games and air hockey. We’d definitely go back again!

Stayed here for the weekend with a group of 10 friends and had the best time! Before we arrived, Emily and Anthony sent over a super helpful list of instructions along with recommendations for things to do in the area. They were also really responsive whenever we had questions, which made everything super easy. The location is great with a beautiful water view! While we mostly hung out at the house, we made a grocery run and everything we needed was just 5–10 minutes away. For anyone wanting to explore more, they even had a binder with local recommendations, which was such a thoughtful touch. The house itself is beautiful, clean, and had plenty of room for all of us. We especially loved the bonfire setup and the awesome selection of board games—it made for such a fun and cozy weekend. Would absolutely stay here again!

This home is comfy, cozy, and clean - a classic New Englander - and convenient to skiing and Bethel. Weather kept us from enjoying all of the area’s winter activities, but we enjoyed a relaxing stay.

Steven went above and beyond to make my family’s stay enjoyable. Upon an accidental overbook Steven refunded us the days and extra for his mistake. He also went out of his way to gift us some drinks since I had mentioned it was my birthday weekend. He was very happy to help with any questions we had. Overall, it was a nice stay and his home was beautiful.

My family and I stayed at Greydon’s place for a long weekend and we all had such a great time! The place is as described, private and on the river. The beds were comfortable, and the game room in the basement was where we spent a lot of time! I would definitely recommend this place to others and I’m sure we’ll back in the future!

We had been looking for a private vacation spot on a lake that would accommodate our intergenerational family of 8 and 2 pets for a few years. Sweetwater Cottage was worth the wait! The long backyard and raised screened in porch made for exquisite views of the sunsets while our kids and dogs played. Quiet lake and neighbors made for an equally perfect spot for early morning fishing and afternoon naps while listening to the loons. We caught several bass, lake trout and even a landlocked salmon out on our flat bottom boat, and the kids were endlessly entertained by catching sunfish off of the dock. The provided paddleboards were a favorite. We even paddled out to the small island where we got up close to a Bald Eagle's nest and took turns jumping off the small wooden platform on a rope swing. The house was beautiful and spacious with comfortable beds and a sectional couch that fit our whole family for game nights. Lots of great memories and photos made. We can't wait to return!

Kelly was very fast in responding to our questions! The cabin was perfect for the rainy weekend that we had! The kayaks were a hit with the kids!

Loons Rest was the perfect get away spot for our 40th anniversary. We were lucky to enjoy the swimming dock in mid September as the daytime temperatures were in the upper 70's to low 80's. The lake was pristine and was warm enough for swimming still. We enjoyed watching and hearing the loons as well as the eagles and kingfishers. We loved the outdoor fire pit when the evenings turned cool as well as the indoor fireplace which is a work of art! Also the was plenty of well seasoned firewood. Everything about this place is very well thought out. If they don't have it you don't need it! The kitchen was well equipped and we were happy to find that there was everything we needed to prepare pizzas to cook on our solo stove pizza oven that we had brought along! John is a great host and responded quickly to any questions we had. Would highly recommend Loons Rest to anyone who is looking for a peaceful and relaxing spot to vacation.

Once again and for the sixth or seventh year we went back to Kai's place with our friends. Always a joy to spend time on David Pond. Can't say enough about it !!! Super clean,all the amenities we need, great view and Kai attentive as usual. We will be back next year Kai,thank you. Marilyn & Tom

Troy’s home is absolutely gorgeous! We were only there for a short stay but it was comfortable, had everything we needed, and had such a beautiful view of the lake. The game room is outstanding, but I wish we hadn’t been too busy to use the hot tub. Troy is one of the easiest hosts — very responsive, flexible and welcoming. We’ll definitely return if we’re in the area again!

This was a wonderful peaceful escape. My family had a great time fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and swimming. The loons were amazing! We even saw a moose come down to the pond. It was an incredible experience and getaway!!! Thank you Jonathan!!!

What a peaceful gem! We booked this at the last minute and we're so happy we did. It's amazingly quiet--we heard loons but not much else. We loved that the lake doesn't allow motorized watercraft. This is definitely a Maine camp--simple, no frills, and that's what makes it great.

The cabin was beautiful, homey in the best way, and comfortable. It was easy to find and with the easy to follow instructions for both checking in and out a dream place to stay. It was the little unexpected amenities that made all the difference. The lights on timers that made middle of the night trips to the kitchen and bathroom a breeze, and the oscillating fan in my room. It allowed my mother-in-law to be warm in her bedroom and me to be cooler in mine. I have a 10lb service dog that enjoyed her stay too! She stayed off furniture, but was able do her job laying beside the bed on the floor by me. Tony’s response time was amazing, and we wanted for nothing! Thank you for the lovely place to stay, and can’t wait to stay with you again when we head that direction next time!!💕

Gorgeous house on the lake. Fits 12 adults comfortably if you are all happy with sharing sleeping space. The house has a massive layout that is perfect for a group setting. 15 minute drive from Sunday River. Amenities were exactly as described. We enjoyed hanging out, using the kitchen to cook, and hanging out at the hot tub at night. Would book again!

Cute cabin on the lake. Clean and comfortable. Kitchen well equipped to cook. Hot tub was hot when we got there and everything was ready to go. Check in/out were super easy. Provided a coffee/tea bar. Overall felt very welcoming with a cozy feel

Great spot near Mt blue pond. Has mostly everything you need at the shack. I would have packed lighter if I knew it was fully stocked. But it’s good to know for next time. There are neighbors on one side divided by a huge fence. Shack was cozy, clean and peaceful. It was so nice of Alexandra to let us use the kayak! It was awesome! Kids had a blast!

Just returned from the most fantastic 2 weeks exploring the US which included a weeks stay at Kiwi Lodge. Where to start? This was exactly as described and the perfect base for exploring Maine. The property was spotless and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. 3 beautiful bedrooms, 2 great sized bathrooms, wonderful living area and kitchen and fantastic games room. Hot tub was brilliant. The location on the lake is just perfect, we had the lake to ourselves and took the canoe out. Nearest town of Farmington has all the shops and cafes you’d need. The communication from Kay was great from the day we booked, and recommendations we took her up on were all absolutely spot on. Thank you Kay and thank you Kiwi Lodge for a holiday to remember!

Been here multiple times and excellent every time. Would recommend to anybody. Will rent here again in the winter summer or spring and fall l.

We cozied in for a couple of days, highlights were playing board games and the hot tub on the deck. Pretty pond just steps away. The heart of the cabin is the back deck.

Absolutely beautiful location. Views of the lake from every window make the cozy spot feel more spacious. We spent most of our time outside enjoying the water, napping on the hammock, dining on the porch or watching the hummingbirds. Incredibly private lot that was so quiet and peaceful. Fully stocked with anything you could need. Games, first aid and staple spices. Use of the Canoe and paddleboard added lots of fun and fires at night to round off a perfect camp stay. So glad we found this beautiful gem!

My husband and I decided to take a last minute trip with our two cats. From the moment we booked, Kortney was ver responsive and answered all of our questions! It was such a beautiful location! Walking distance from all of the restaurants and shops in town but also just private enough! We love traveling with our cats but often have trouble finding places that allow cats, however Kortney was very welcoming to them and excited to have their first cat guests! All around, I would recommend to anyone looking to get away and turn off the outside world! We will definitely be returning!!
