Covered Bridge Cottage

Located on a farm in the heart of Amish country and amid one of the largest concentrations of antiques in America, we are central to many attractions, yet quaint and secluded enough to provide a relaxing retreat. The Covered Bridge Cottage started out in the 1800’s as a mill office and over the years was converted into a home through several additions. The house has been in our family for close to a century and it was our honor to restore it to a comfortable, energy efficient, durable home.

The Mill Road Farmhouse is a destination in and of itself. Immaculately restored inside and out, this home is a true retreat in the middle of Amish Country. We have a feeling you will be spending all of your time relaxing by pool and hot tub during the warmer months (or maybe grilling up a feast in the brand new outdoor kitchen area) and curled up next to one of the four indoor fireplaces during the winter months. And then of course end each day star-gazing while sitting around the campfire.

Log Cabin

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Need a nature reset regardless of the season? Enjoy a stay at a completely refurbished 1820’s log cabin nestled in the woods and rolling fields of a 30 acre homestead. The cabin showcases three bedrooms and gorgeous views, a large living and dining area, as well as full kitchen. Enjoy exploring the trails around the farm, greeting the resident horses and ponies, immersing yourself in the surrounding area of hiking trails and blue marsh lake.

The Millhaus

This is the original "tiny house." Built in 1766, the Millhaus sits on a 32-acre historic site with the Knauer Mill, Horseshoe Trail, and French Creek. Take a short hike along the water's edge to Saint Peter’s Village for coffee & pastries, or dinner & drinks. Our Conestoga wagon is tucked in a campsite along the woods at the Dutch Cousin Campground located near Denver, Pennsylvania. The triple-layer waterproof “bonnet” provides a year-round climate-controlled (with heat & a/c) environment.
