Our modern, well-equipped home sits right by the sea with breathtaking mountain views, surrounded by pristine Arctic nature. Spot reindeer, otters, moose, or even whales, and watch the Northern Lights from the porch. Steps away, enjoy a panoramic sauna by the water. A traditional BBQ hut is available as an optional rental. This is our beloved home, and many guests tell us they fall in love with it too. Few places blend comfort and wilderness like this. We never tire of it—and hope you will, too.

Rustic ocean lodge with sea-side sauna

Beautiful and rustic house by the sea in the countryside 1 hrs drive from the city of Tromsø. The area is great for hiking, skiing, fishing with the midnight sun in the summer and aurora borealis during winter. Included in your stay there is a woodfired sauna placed by the sea with a fireplace and a cosy indoor chill-zone with a charge of NOK 250,- per sac of firewood used to heat these facilities . To prepare and fill the hot tub for you to use during your stay, we charge a fee at NOK 2000,-

Her kan du nyte gode sommerdager med utsikt til Kvaløya og Senja. Håja med midnattsol i nord. 120 m til nydelig sandstrand og bademuligheter. Våren kommer tidlig på kysten. Midnattsol fra 18.05. til 26.07. Hytta har fantastisk utsikt mot nord og midnattsola. Bilvei helt fram og parkering ved hytta. Om vinteren er det førsteklasses muligheter for å se nordlys. Det servant med v/k vann på alle soverom. Det er et eget toalett i soveromsfløyen. Sengetøy og håndklær er inkludert i leieprisen.

It is in the nature surrounded by the ocean, white coral beaches, islets and reefs, you can see this trough the apartment windows. Park right outsidee and indside you really have everything you might need.

Do you want to stay in a beautiful remote place, while still connected to the city? Grøtfjord is located just a 40 min. drive from Tromsø. Close to some of the areas most amazing mountains, fjords, ski and climbing areas. a. Big appartment with 1 bedroom that holds a king size bed and one bunk bed. There is a fold out sleeping couch in the living room. All facilites, towels to firewood are included! A car is needed to get to grøtfjord. The hosts live in a different section of the house.

Relax together with family or friends in this peaceful place. This apartment is located close to the the ocean and is surrounded by majestic mountains. Cozy apartment on the ground floor in a private house. Quiet area. Private entrance. One bedroom with queen size bed (150), and another bedroom with 2 beds (90 cm). Combined living area and kitchen. 30 minutes by car (27 km) from Tromsø airport (Langnes).

Min. 3 nights stay due to the long distance from my home and my work schedule. (You can ask though. Availability must be there and price will be different). The house has “all amenities” minus dishwasher. The drive from the airport is approximately 1h. There is no public transportation here so you need to either rent a car or hire me as a driver.
