Alpine Den - A Modern Forest Escape

The Alpine Den Is perfect for all occasions, from a romantic getaway to a family retreat. Located in an old growth forest near the Salmon River, nestled under a canopy of Firs and Cedars. The cabin sits on a picturesque half acre lot, minutes away from great restaurants, markets, golf course, biking and amazing hiking trails. Stay along a bank of the Zig Zag River in the foothills of Mt. Hood in this handcrafted cabin. Set at the end of a quiet, forested street just off Hwy 26, this cozy cabin offers solitude surrounded by majestic beauty. With a rustic wood and handmade tile interior, the cabin has a classic feel with modern convenience. Outside, the mountains offer visual serenity, and the river creates a dreamy audio ambiance that drowns out road noise and makes it an ideal space to truly "get away".

This stunning two story A-frame home overlooks the Sandy River in a private, gated community. 2 bedrooms downstairs with a full bath and a loft with a king size bed, 2 sets of bunk beds and a second full bathroom upstairs. Amenities include a full kitchen, TV, and WiFi. The living room and dining room are an open design that look out onto a deck with a view of the river. A large fireplace provides perfect winter ambience. Four downhill ski areas are 30-40 min. Kid and pet friendly.

The Pine Cone Cottage

Extremely cozy cabin in Rhodenderon. This peaceful cabin is located on Henry Creek and provides easy access to all Mt. Hood has to offer. It's walking distance from a pizza place, Dairy Queen, coffee house and various other shops. 17min from Government Camp and minutes from numerous hiking trails. Other amenities include: -Smart TV -Wifi -Shower -Fully equipped kitchen Warning- You will need chains, traction tires or 4-wheel drive, if it is snowing in Rhodenderron.

Cozy & Private A-Frame: Mount Hood National Forest

Private A-Frame (for 4 people) and separate studio bedroom/bathroom behind the garage (for 2 people.) Please note: the studio must be requested in advance. The A-Frame is on the edge of the Mount Hood National Forest. • Walk or drive to the Salmon River trailheads and Salmon River Slab. • 15 min to French's Dome. • 20 to 30 min to Timberline and Mount Hood Meadows, x-country and snow-shoeing at Trillium or Teacup. Secluded Mt. Hood Cabin Retreat

Escape to the Burke cabin near Mt. Hood, just 3.3 miles from Highway 26. Step out the front door to sweeping Mt Hood views, a 7-acre open prairie, and easy access to hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and outdoor recreation. Sleeps 6 with a queen bedroom and loft with queen bed + futon. Features a full kitchen, clawfoot tub, and fire pit under the stars, perfect for a Mt Hood getaway, romantic retreat, or outdoor basecamp. Pets welcome with additional fees.

The Bear's Den, studio with kitchen and pond/creek

Our wonderful guest house is a cozy studio with a queen bed, kitchen, sofa, and dining table in one large room. There is a bathroom with shower. This is a second floor apartment over the detached garage, we live in the main house next door. The property is very secluded well off the road with no other houses nearby and borders the National Forest. Enjoy the spring fed pond in the front yard, a hike along the Sandy river, or a 15 min drive to ski resorts.

Niksen House: Scandanvian style Cabin at Mt. Hood

*water pressure issue has been fixed! Niksen House is located just outside of Mt. Hood National Forest, 20 minutes from ski areas and an hour from Portland. The cabin is in a rural residential community and sits next to a 1/2 acre lot giving it an off-the-grid feel with all of the on-the-grid amenities. Cozy Mt. Hood Cabin

Our mountain cabin is the perfect getaway whether snow or sun! This two story, two bedroom cabin is great for couples, families or small groups. Updated and well stocked, with a gorgeous view of the Sandy River. Sorry, we no longer allow pets due to an unfortunate incident with a pup, but we do have our own dogs at the cabin from time to time if you are super sensitive to pet hair.
