This was such a great location to stay while we visited Kansas for our son’s graduation from nearby Sterling College. The breakfast view of the sunrise behind the farm was gorgeous, and we had a wonderful dinner outside by the fire pit. The house itself was great! They said it was a work in progress and were clear about what they are working on, but it was nicely decorated and everything was clean and well kept. The small details, like the farm fresh eggs they left for us in the fridge, were extra special. They also contacted us ahead of our trip to let us know of a community breakfast fundraiser during our stay. We were honored to stop in and support their small community! This house was a little farther from Sterling than other locations we found, but the beautiful and peaceful surroundings, along with a great price, made it worth the extra drive!

Jennifer’s Place was a nice place to lay my head at night. I stayed here for the turnaround in McPherson. This place was a great price and booked it for 3 months. I really enjoyed all the local restaurants in town. I would recommend anyone passing through to stay at Jennifer’s Place and eat at El Rinconcito and County Seat Bar and Grill, those two were definitely my favorite. The Brew 56 coffee shop had awesome Bierocks as well.

Simple and straightforward, exactly what we need for a great price, extremely clean.

I happened to be working in the area and stumbled across this listing when the local hotel became overbooked. I did not have super high expectations going in but was pleasantly surprised once we arrived and saw the place in person. Almost instantly fell in love with the place. It was comfortable and peaceful, and it just felt like home. I would highly recommend this place for anyone that enjoys nature, wide open spaces, and the kind of peace and quiet you don't find often. If I ever find myself working this area again in the future I will definitely stay here again.
