María Luisa was a great host. She guided us with directions to her place. It was really lovely seeing old house with excellent architectural details. Loved it. So well located 20 feet away from plaza. Great restaurants, especially Acebuche which was like 10 feet away. The restaurant owners were so personable, let us sample delicacies of the Extremadura area. Wine “la Raya” outstanding. Jesus and Veronica the proprietors, were jokingly teased by the locals about how attentive they were to us. Just two shmos which they treated like VIPs. Loved Maria’s place, loved Acebuche, loved Villanueva de Fresno.

Alojamiento Ideal para desconectar en plena naturaleza

Casa muy grande y moderna cerca de la plaza Redonda que es el corazón de Cartaya. No falta nada como si estuviéramos en nuestra propia casa. Hay un patio muy grande, un salón súper agradable y, en la planta, 2 habitaciones más un despacho sin olvidar 2 cuartos de baño. La cocina dispone de un lavavajillas, elemento poco corriente en las casas de alquiler. El barrio de la casa es residencial y tranquilo. Al lado está un parque y una cafetería donde se puede comer. Cartaya es una ciudad encantadora, toda blanca, muy animada y alegre, que dispone de muchos comercios, restaurantes y supermercados. Además la casa de Silvia está cerca de la carretera que va hacia las playas bonitas y tranquilas de El Rompido y Nuevo Portil. Gracias a Silvia por su acogida y sus consejos.

Adelino is a superb host and his villa is amazing. Extremely responsive and was able to answer any questions right away. Very spacious, clean, private and comfortable. The smell of fresh rosemary every morning in the beautiful garden was an added bonus. Close drive to grocery and restaurants. Coast line and Albufeira just 30 mins drive as well. Would highly recommend.

Estadia 5*. Todas as comodidades, piscina impecável, zona de churrasco, quartos, e zonas comuns inclusive. Minimercado com de tudo um pouco e ao lado de casa. Perto de zonas para visitar muito interessantes. Gentes da terra muito simpáticas e acolhedoras. Alojamento perfeito para uns dias em família, em casal ou com amigos para relaxar. Recomendaremos sem hesitação.

Für uns war diese schöne Hütte perfekt. Sehr abgelegen und ruhig. Ein kleines Paradies dass wir ganz für uns alleine hatten. Leider hatten wir sehr schlechtes Wetter auch mit Sturm aber wir haben uns nicht eine Sekunde unwohl gefühlt. Die Hütte ist extrem stabil gebaut und die Heizung hat auch perfekt funktioniert so dass wir nicht frieren mussten. Wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf unseren nächsten Besuch

It was a pleasure to stay in this beautiful space. Eike and Anna and their family were the warmest, kindest hosts, full of helpful local suggestions and very responsive. The flowers and welcome basket were lovely touches. Attention to detail is excellent, the property is well equipped, clean and comfortable. Two great showers and lots of towels. The location is stunning. We loved eating meals on the terrace with views across the valley, playing basketball, swimming in the pool under the stars, the outdoor shower, using the hammock and exploring the local area. The family have dogs and cats which our kids loved as they were all very gentle and friendly. It’s a 20 minute drive to local shops and restaurants, and the road up to the house is a typical mountain road. Would highly recommend staying here, our teenage daughter described it as “paradise”.

Espaço no campo calmo e muito acolhedor, o Sr Fernando sempre disponível para qualquer coisa que precisamos, recomendou ótimos restaurantes e lugares para passear na natureza ao redor. A casa é bastante equipada, tem tudo o que precisa para uma estadia em família e inclusive uma cozinha para criança que a minha filha amou brincar. Estadia espetacular e tem mercado próximo a casa o que facilita bastante
