My husband and I stay at John and Tracy’s cozy farmhouse every time we come to Arkansas as it’s a taste of home; very quite setting with a fully furnished clean house plus, a pond in the back and cows in the pastures. Both John and Tracy are extremely friendly people who go out of their way to make sure your stay is comfortable and they are right there if you need anything ! This last visit for us was bittersweet as my husbands mom recently passed and we knew it was here we wanted to stay as we took care of everything; which was very comforting without stress. When we arrived and walked into the kitchen, Tracy blessed us with gorgeous flowers out of her yard and a beautiful heartfelt note extending their sympathies…..so wonderful and memorable to know they sincerely cared.💝 Highly recommend their safe haven to anyone!! We had a great time! The view was incredible. This beautiful cabin had everything we needed and more to enjoy our time away. It was also comfortable and very clean. A lot of thought went into the furnishings and accommodations. It was a home away from home. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty of dishes, bedding and towels for our family. Our host was attentive, responsive and helpful. We will certainly stay here again when we visit Petit Jean. Thank you Mary Ruth!

Only problem we had finding prop was expecting to see number on mailbox instead of fence. Everything we needed was provided and more. Everyone from young children to grandparents enjoyed the property. Loved the ambience of the rustic cabin and aroma of cedar. The baked treats were a very nice touch. Lots of room for a gathering of people. Only issue was step up to the back area. Plenty to do on the property in addition to the local attractions. We were all enthralled interacting with the horses. Came prepared to let the little ones try fishing but didn’t get to it. Definitely recommend to someone looking for a place to relax and unwind from the rat race of daily living. Every need anticipated; just need to provide your own meals outside of breakfast.

Second time of staying. As good as the first. Easy access. Everything provided except groceries of course. Condiments galore. Seems that guests pay it forward. We did too, such as bottled water, bags of chips, etc. Comfortable beds. very responsive heating or cooling. Highly recommended.

Great host, gave us a heads-up about the weather situation. Place was also great and peaceful.

We had a wonderful stay. It was everything and more as described. The house has great A/C, strong water pressure, soft beds, and the host was very thoughtful in providing cleaning supplies. The outside was the star of the show. There was plenty of room to go fishing from the bank, as well as a boat dock, which we used to fish from. It rained one day, and we were still able to fish under the awning of the dock. Big yard for kids to play and run about. There was a very nice area to have a fire, but unfortunately, there was a burn ban, and we were unable to take advantage of it. The host had a quick response to a question we had for the nearest boat ramp. Looking forward to staying here again.
