Newly renovated and fully appointed mountain retreat with full access to Rumbling Bald! Rumbling Bald is a beautiful, complete resort experience. The resort boasts golf courses, restaurants, tennis, gym, indoor/outdoor pools, kayaking, and much more! Take a drive to the historic town of Lake Lure and to Chimney Rock Park. Hiking, zip lining and lots of fun and exciting adventures await. Or, if you prefer, find a spot on the patio and enjoy the serene quiet and beauty of our mountain retreat!

The Artful Dodger Getaway Cabin Charming & Unique

Our cabin is in the gated Riverbend community on a quiet wooded lot and is very cozy and comfortable inside and out. It is perfect for a couple's getaway from city hustle and bustle. Wildlife abounds in the area. Inside are all the comforts of home including a new Sealy king memory foam mattress. We clean it ourselves and we take care to sanitize all surfaces between bookings. There is a big Ingles nearby and some restaurants as well. Chimney Rock is closed due to Hurricane Helene damage.

Treetops Cottage is located within the private community of Riverbend in beautiful Lake Lure, NC. Set in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Treetops is nestled on a three acre lot of hardwood forest with most trees surpassing 60 feet tall. The wrap around deck will give you a 360 degree view of the all the different trees and the many deer that cross the property daily. While in Riverbend you will have access to a private beach where you can swim, canoe, fish or have a picnic.

Boasting a Private Creek and Waterfall. Relax on one of the 2 large wrap around Decks in the Hot tub or floating bed. The Pet-Friendly cabin is perfect for small, large or multiple families or groups. Each floor has its own master bedroom and full bath.

Welcome to our lakehouse on Bald Mountain Lake, located at Rumbling Bald Resort. We provide a Sea Eagle boat with electric motor, 2 SUPs and 2 kayaks. Home has a fireplace and hot-tub. Large, flat back yard with fire-pit. 5 minute walk to Buffalo Creek Park. Miles of hiking trails. Resort amenities include 2 golf courses, restaurants, indoor and outdoor pools, spa, sauna. Our property was impacted by Hurricane Helene in Sept 2024. Details in description below.
