One of our favorite eating spots. Reasonably priced and usually a nice meal. The bread sticks and garlic butter served before the meal are the best. The menu has something for everyone.

Both Mexican restaurants are good but we like Los Cabos (by the Safeway store) because it can easily accommodate large groups.

The Yakima River is a short drive down the forest service road. If you drove to Cle Elum to come to the cabin you passed over a favorite spot for fishing. The river is a 'blue ribbon' river .

Safeway is the only grocery store in town so can be busy but the staff are always pleasant. It is well stocked considering it is a small town store except produce can be 'iffy'
