It is off the beaten path of Rehoboth Avenue so you will find more locals than tourists. They also have their own parking lot which makes it easier if you are driving. Good happy hour specials (currently 2 for 1 sushi at the bar).

The food is excellent, service is fast, friendly and efficient and the prices are reasonable for the experience. If you want to "try before you buy" sit at the bar and sample the apps, make your dinner reservation for the next night on the way out!

Go with a group of friends and you will be able to socialize with them and everyone else around you. There are cocktail servers making it must easier to get a drink when it is very crowded. The food is good, the crowd is eclectic and there is never a dull moment. The Purple Parrot has a Key West vibe and everyone is welcome. You will find as many locals as tourists at this very popular venue. The Purple Parrot Biergarten can be accessed from Rehoboth Avenue down the side alley next to the main restaurant or directly via Wilmington Avenue. The Biergarten is a great summer outdoor venue with music, food, the after beach crowd at happy hour and great drinks. Service can be slow so go right to the bar to order drinks.

Parks & Nature
The Junction and Breakwater Trail allows both biking and hiking from Rehoboth all the way to Lewes. The trail is an excellent retreat from the beach and highway crowds. It is beautiful every season of the year.

A beautiful, natural state park that offers parking, beach access, a bike trail and beautiful vistas at every turn. This park does charge an entrance fee. If you go on the weekends in the summer, get there early as the parking lot can fill up quickly.

One of the best views of the Rehoboth/Lewes coastal area. Right in the middle of the Cape Henlopen State Park. There are beaches, hiking/biking trails and plenty of wildlife including frequent dolphin sightings.

If you are a fan of Dogfish Head beer, make your way to Milton and take the brewery tour. There is a beer tasting at the end and plenty of merchandise to purchase as souvenirs. It is always fun and the drive to Milton is scenic. Milton is also a great little town to visit.

Lefty's has something for everyone. This is not your father's bowling alley. The alleys are clean and even chic! For the kids there is an expansive arcade and Laser Tag, for the adults there are cocktails, beer and wine and an excellent dining room for dinner. The bar is large, the seating is comfortable, the place is clean and stylish. A great experience whether you are here for a week or a lifetime.
