Freathy is a large expanse of sand at low tide but splits into a series of rocky coves when the tide is in. Bit of a winding cliff path to get to it.

Not the cheapest day our but if you like plants and the natural world then you are in for a treat. Great for all ages, there's quite a lot of walking involved but its well worth it.

Looe is a busy fishing port with a popular family beach, and its only 4 miles from Duloe. Divided in two by the river both East and West Looe are must visits. It gets very busy in the summer so out of season visits are more sedate. There are plenty of shops, cafe, restaurants and pubs, as well as boat and fishing trips, so Looe offers pretty much everything. Plenty of walks along the coastline and from West Looe you can walk the 5.5 miles to Polperro.
