Come see the legendary bats of Austin at the Congress bridge. Over 1 million Mexican free tail bats fly out from under the bridge every night. Even as a local who has experienced this event a few times, its still an amazing sight.

A historic Austin legend. 6th street is a notorious party street where the street gets blocked off at night and all the bars come alive. People can get pretty crazy later in the night. However the daytime is pretty calm and worth driving through at least when touring the city.
