Such a fun place to go to!! It's a 10-minute drive from the apartment. They have ice-skating, rock climbing, a golf course, bumper cars, and an arcade. They cater to events, but you can also get a day pass just to go in and enjoy all the fun activities they have.

Aviator Sports and Events Center
3159 Flatbush AveSuch a fun place to go to!! It's a 10-minute drive from the apartment. They have ice-skating, rock climbing, a golf course, bumper cars, and an arcade. They cater to events, but you can also get a day pass just to go in and enjoy all the fun activities they have.
This park is super close by and offers a variety of fun activities. From bike paths, baseball fields, tennis courts, playgrounds, and even an area set aside to launch boats and kayaks in Jamaica Bay, Marine Park has something for everyone. We highly suggest taking a walk through the park's nature trail; it's a calming experience and you'll usually spot shore birds and other little animals on your stroll. There's also a track that goes around the entire park that's perfect for jogging.
Marine Park
This park is super close by and offers a variety of fun activities. Jacob Riis Park
157 Rockaway Beach BlvdIt's a relaxing and fun place to visit for any season. During the pandemic, we would come here and walk down the boardwalk. We've spotted many dolphins, seals and other aquatic animals in the water during our walks. The beach is huge, has a playground and, during the summer, offers food services. As you walk further down there's also a lot of cool abandoned buildings and forts with a lot of history behind them.
This "field" is home to many sports facilities and recreational attractions. They have a golf center, archery range, soccer field, and for our nature-lovers, they have a lovely community garden to walk around in.

This neighborhood is a friendly area with lots of schools, parks, and a variety of authentic cultural restaurants (greek, italian**, spanish**, arabic, chinese, mediterranean, japanese). Parking is a bit tricky here, people tend to get around by biking, walking, or public transit (bus). It's a really beautiful area you should definitely visit. Take some pics by the Verrazano Bridge on Shore Road in the summer (or come to one of the local 3rd avenue festivals), walk around Dyker Heights to see the Christmas lights in December, or come to "86th Street" and get falafels at a halal cart. Bay Ridge is usually a friendly place, especially since it's so diverse.. it's such a cool neighborhood you definitely need to check out, the atmosphere is very welcoming and there's so much to do!

Brooklyn Heights has a small town charm in a big city. One place we suggest you try is Custom House on Montague Street.

It's a pretty hip place to visit.
