Wendy's house was well furnished, equipped with all the amenities you could need for cooking in the kitchen, enjoying an evening in watching tv, or just relaxing in front of the fireplace. This house has you covered. For our family of 7 (4 adults, 3 kids), we had two master bedrooms to choose from (one in the basement, one upstairs), and plenty enough space for the kids to spread out in the great room, or their own private bedrooms with good sized beds. The kitchen is modern with a great aesthetic, and the house is well furnished with great decor. We love their style! We felt right at home in this cozy neighborhood, and our host kindly checked on us to ensure we were comfortable and to reach out if we ever had a need. We're repeat customers because this house has been great, both in the past and now. Coming back this year felt just as cozy!

Great location...close to food, shopping and the RecPlex. Townhouse was immaculate and exactly like the pictures. Quiet neighborhood. I would definitely stay again.

We were in town for a weekend wedding at the end of March. The quantity of bedrooms and sleeping space was great for my large family. It was nice to be able to park in the garage also. The location was easy to find and convenient for all of our wedding activities. The value was excellent- staying at a hotel with my large family would have been much more expensive and not as much fun, as we could all be together comfortably in the house!

Our family enjoyed staying at this house for Easter. We loved all the games and spacious places to hang out and relax. Definitely take the time to walk the trails behind the house.

Loved our stay. 2 days there were 13 of us definitely tested the capacity lots of room. My husband and I added a day , he seldom gets summer vacations. Bring blankets especially if people sleeping on couches. More kitchen stocking if doing a lot of cooking. The house was awesome one level especially the game room extra space. Two sleeper sofa’s would work in there. Lots of room for large groups. Fire pit and pool absolutely great. Patio and two doors on the poolside was very useful. I did call Douglas with a few questions, very accommodating and friendly.

I came to Jayden’s place with a few girls from my church to have a getaway weekend. This place was absolutely perfect! It was just as beautiful as the photos, the hot tub was an amazing size and easy for all 10 of us to enjoy. The whole place was the perfect size! The kitchen was a huge so we could make our own food, each bedroom was big and had comfortable beds so no one had to use an air mattress or futon. It was also in the country, so we didn’t have to worry about keeping neighbors awake, though we didn’t still respect the 11pm quiet hours. I did realize that there is a next door living space that the host lives in, but I don’t think anyone was home when we were there. All in all, if you are looking to have a getaway weekend with a larger group, this is the place to rent! Each of the girls couldn’t say enough how wonderful it was and such a perfect place to stay. I highly recommend!

Colby’s Instructions were very helpful and clearly written it’s obvious he is very experienced. The house was beautiful plenty of space to sit, sleep, and eat and in a quiet spot. The amenities were great having a dumpster there was very helpful multiple fridges and plenty of parking. The barn was very cool my guests were not expecting anything like that, we all had a lot of fun and had no problems keeping the place clean and following the rules.

Dan’s house was perfect for what we needed for our short stay. Spacious with entertainment for the kids. I highly recommend staying here.

Thank you so much for an awesome stay! We'll definitely stay here again. The large fenced in backyard was a bonus for sure. Our little dogs loved being able to run around free without their leash.

This Airbnb was perfect—clean, cozy, and super affordable. Kendall and InSun were friendly and helpful, and the location was quiet but close to everything. I especially liked having a private spot to park my car. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

I loved this little house! It was very comfortable and had everything I could've wanted for a weekend trip. It was very easy to get to and I had no issues with checking in or out. It was clean and the rules were very easy to follow. My only one complaint is that it's somewhat close to a train track. As a light sleeper, I got woken up once or twice by it. Even with that I would definitely stay here again because the rest of it was great. It's in a very friendly community, and coming from a big city the people were so much friendlier/nicer than I'm used to interacting with so that was a great plus.

We had a great girls weekend! The house was the perfect size and a great location. Loved having the grocery store next door! The house had everything we needed!

We have stayed here several times as it is very close to family but still gives us our own space. Never had any issues. Be sure to have breakfast at Sweet Oaks just a block away!

This house was so beautiful and very comfortable. We enjoyed being able to cook a nice meal in the kitchen. Would have loved a few more dish rags and dish towels, but overall it was fantastic. The box of baked goodies and snack was so thoughtful and appreciated. The little Christmas tree was a nice touch as we were celebrating Christmas together. The nice big table was wonderful for all of us to share a meal at a be thankful for another year of gods blessings. The beds were super comfy and my dad and my son enjoyed the ping pong table as my dad was a former ping pong champ 🏓 We would definitely rent this place again.

The place was great for a weekend stay while our son was visiting Central College. Super clean and very comfortable. Snacks left for us was a great touch for sure! We will definitely stay here again!

This is the second time I’ve booked The Home Place. It is the perfect home away from home while staying in beautiful Winterset!

Worked well for our family - easy to get to and central to our activities.

The house was prefect for us. Great neighborhood and close to campus. We will stay here again the next time we visit ISU.

Stayed a week for the State Fair. Very clean, well stocked and mostly new/renovated. Beds were comfy. One was considerably low to the floor, about 8”, a little tuff getting up & down. The driveway and street is narrow. Neighbors parked on street made backing out difficult with large truck. Disappointed with the screened in back patio. It was uncharacteristically dirty with leaves and debris. Washer & dryer in basement, well lit and very clean. WiFi worked great. Plenty of hot water. We would stay again.
