This Airbnb rocked!! We stayed for 3 nights and still felt like there were activities we hadn’t done as a group yet. If you want a place that isn’t too far (only 25 mins from Fourth street live) from the city while also enjoying lots of time at the actual Airbnb itself, this place is for you! 10/10 would highly recommend!!

We had a great stay after a concert in Iroquois Park. The host responded to all of our questions right away. We loved that the location was so close to attractions and restaurants but was still a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay in Louisville.

We had a great stay here while we were in town for the Oaks and Derby. Kristin was very responsive, the home was clean, comfortable, and it was a great location. Quiet but walkable to great bars and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay!

We stayed here over a weekend and the home is amazing. Great location to everything. Very friendly neighborhood. Host are great people and we’re very flexible with our stay. We had some weather that messed up our plans, but host were very quick to help and very simplistic to our issue. Absolutely NO issues with the house, just the weather had other plans.

Absolutely LOVED our stay! 10/10 highly recommend to all. Do not pass this place up. It is peaceful and private, but not too far from town (less than 10 minutes) Karen and Ron have went above and beyond with the inside of the home. Everything is labeled and very easy to navigate. Karen met us to give us a quick tour upon check in and was super responsive through our stay. The pool is amazing and worth the price alone. There are games and stuffed animals for the kids and tons of water toys and floats. Next time all we will need to bring is our swimwear! There are bathroom toiletries, kitchen utensils, many coffee options, endless towels, etc. These hosts are top tier! We will be coming back for sure!

The house was amazing and had everything equipped in order to cook. They provided plenty of toilet trees, trash bags, and laundry detergent. The house was beautiful. The hot tub and pool were impressive. I would book again in a heartbeat. Host was very responsive.

My family absolutely enjoyed our stay. We had a great time. Indoor pool, rec room, fire pit and lake. We made unforgettable memories. Jordana is very nice and we would love to come back again. 10/10!

The place was lovely and wonderfully centrally located. They were incredibly responsive and gave amazing check in instructions. The home while beautiful did have an interesting layout with the bedrooms. We would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed here for an Easter getaway with some friends and our dog. Everything was really clean, the kitchen was really well stocked, it was really quiet, and the space was perfect for all of us. The screened in porch was amazing…I wanted it to come home with me! Overall, great stay. Definitely recommend and would stay again!!

This was our second stay at Guest House on Story, and was definitely as good, if not better than the first. Kim is an excellent and responsive host who strives to make sure your stay is exactly what you need. We had a large group of adults visiting Louisville to celebrate a birthday weekend, and we had plenty of space to spread out and relax. The area has fun walkable bars, breweries, and cocktail lounges, along with restaurants! Highly recommend Tartan House and Biscuit Belly. Guests should be aware as others have mentioned that given the location in Butchertown, there is occasionally a notable smell outside. It very much depends on the direction of the wind and day/time of the week. Do know though that you cannot smell this inside the house! We caught a whiff outside here and there, but definitely not the entire time. Highly recommend Guest House on Story, and I'm sure we will stay again when in Louisville with a large group.

The property was exactly as listed and perfect for what we needed. We felt safe with the external cameras and other safety features. The bed was super comfortable and the space was very clean and well organized. The binder provided was clear and the included "In case of Emergency" plan was an appreciated add in, that we were glad wasn't needed but comforting to have. Added bonus for the garage space provided. Couldn't ask for better. Would 100% stay again.

Ty's place was a perfect homebase for our group! We had plenty of space for everyone, everything was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. Ty was very responsive to any questions or needs we had. There were plenty of restaurants, stores, and coffee shops that were all only a few minutes away and yet we felt like we were in a private, peaceful area. We enjoyed the covered back patio for sitting with our coffee each day and LOVED having 3 bathrooms! We will definitely look for Ty's place if we are ever in the area again.

We had an amazing stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. The location was perfect, close to everything we needed, but still quiet and peaceful at night. The host was responsive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like snacks, local recommendations, and fast Wi-Fi. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Very clean owner very responsive great location

I stayed here for 2 months on a work trip, and loved my time at the house. Amy and cohost Jenny are very responsive and quick to address any issues that arise. Beautiful property with plenty of space. All amenities the you could need!

The property was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and Patty was incredibly responsive to all of our questions. We felt very comfortable and well-cared for during our stay.

We had a great time! It was a walkable distance to the resort and the space was very clean and comfortable.

The house was beautiful and exactly what was described. We messed up and locked ourselves out and they took care of that very quickly for us. Very nice area in downtown. When we go back again we will see if it is available and book there again. Thank you!

Our stay at Lynn’s place was enjoyable from beginning to end. Extremely pleased with the entire experience. I will definitely return to her home for future accommodations while visiting the Louisville area.

Tyler’s place was an absolute beauty! To be in a home that is set up for morning walks, overlooking the Ohio river is so peaceful. There were books in the home and had the opportunity to begin to read one of them….I will be purchasing it as soon as I get home. You are 8-12 minutes from restaurants and activities in Louisville in addition to multiple quaint locations in the surrounding area. I hope to get the chance to stay here again in the near future.
