Ferienunterkünfte direkt am Strand in Samar Island

Es waren wirklich erholsame Tage. Wir konnten warm und kalt duschen, die drei Malzeiten waren gut und ausreichend, wir haben nichts entbehrt und wir kommen wieder. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet der Pacific zeigte sich von der besten Seite, wie der Service des Hauses. Danke für die schönen erholsamen Tage am weissen Strand Langtaran.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Balay Guti. Sehr schönes Haus mit Pool in sehr guter Lage. Jeden Morgen gab es ein gutes Frühstück. Wer für eine größere Personenanzahl kochen möchte, bringt eigene Töpfe mit, es gibt nur einen kleinen Topf und eine kleine Pfanne. wir empfehlen das Haus und Jess mit ihren Mitarbeitern unbedingt und kommen gerne wieder. Wir hatten im Chateau de France den schönsten Aufenthalt in den Philippinen. Die gesamte Anlage ist traumhaft angelegt mit vielen Plätzen die zum Verweilen und Entspannen einladen. Ganz herzlichen Dank an Bill und sein tolles Team, die immer aufmerksam waren, einen hervorragenden Kaffee gekocht haben und uns hervorragend bei einer Geburtstagsfeier unterstützt haben. Es war mir eine Ehre, in dieser schönen und entspannten Umgebung Gast sein zu dürfen. Hoffentlich auf bald!

My second stay at the Chateau and the place was perfect for my needs. Bill was very commutative with me at all times, even informing me of the planned power cuts in the area. The staff were excellent and always very helpful, when I bought a group of 18 for swimming, food and Kareoke they coped very well. ( thank you Wendy a goid time was had by all ! ) Bed and pillows super comfy, air con ok, restaurant and facilities excellent. There is now a new set of proper steps to the beach with handrails which is a great improvement. You will have the beach to yourself and perfect for a morning swim ! The location is 20 minutes from town in beautiful quiet surroundings away from the noise. Trycycles pass all day for around 30 pesos will take you to Calbayog Town. I will definitely return and would highly recommend this place for a nice relaxing stay.

The owner has a nice collection of art from around the world. I especially liked the decor throughout the house and the use of color and natural woods.

The place was serene and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing staycation. We had breakfast overlooking the beach by sunrise, and walked on the beach by sunset. We didn't swim on the beach because of the jellyfish, but we were able to enjoy the pool with the sound of calm waves at the background. Our room was also clean and spacious. Disney+ in our room and cable in the shared living room were available and working. Ms. Kat and her family were very kind and hospitable. They offered us different kinds of food, and even had us taste torta, a delicacy in Samar. Ms. Kat was also very helpful in giving directions, and arranging tours and transportation for us in Tacloban, Leyte, and Basey, Samar. The caretakers were also very pleasant and assisted us in getting a van back to Tacloban on our last day. We truly enjoyed our stay as it felt like a home away from home. We hope to be back with our families in the future!

Christian made a bad trip into an absolute delight. In spite of his English roots (jk) he is a class act and the best thing about the place. Very friendly (in spite of being born in England ), intelligent, mannered, can talk about anything. He was the best entertainment in the facility. If you stay, sit down with this gentleman or play a game in pool. You will laugh and be wowed the whole time. ty my new friend.

A beautiful location, incredibly peaceful and welcoming. Raffy was a fantastic host who looked after our every need. I honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone better to be there for us when we needed. He was knowledgable about the area, escorted us when we went into town, and organised trips and travel whenever it was required. Possibly the best host I have ever had and probably ever will have on Airbnb! The views from the cottage in the morning and evening are wonderful, and everyone we spoke to that lived nearby were friendly and welcoming. We had everything we needed in the cottage and the beds were comfortable. A perfect start to our trip to the Philippines, I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

It is my favorite place to stay in this 1920s Hawaii. He hires the friendyest people around and treats them great. It makes for a very great atmosphere to be around.

Many things worth mentioning here so I hope I rememer all: - Chris, his staff and expat guests all very friendly and helpful and offer valueble tips - been helped with many things - from small (lending a travel adapter) to big (staff helping me with the purpose of my trip: finding my family here - WITH SUCCES! which is priceless! - Hosts' bar & restaurant didn't serve only as a place to eat, but on my long stay also as a place for entertainment (Karaoke, Music nights, billard) and social bonding with his amazing staff (great conversations), I was even invited for a beach day which I really enjoyed and am very grateful, considering being solo female traveler - restaurant: not only do they cook with clean water but also did they cook vegetarian/pescetarian dishes for me and even offered me a drink that was not on the menu so I'd have something to drink, same with food, Chris was happy to try out something new for my requirements; another time staff organised me some Ice cream GREAT FOLK
