Everything was as described on Mimi’s Airbnb listing. She communicated perfectly and had plenty of parking for all of us that were stay there. I will be using this place again next year for our visit.

We had a great stay with a lot of help from Mimi! She gave great recommendations and helpful tips on her website and the book in the apartment. She was very descriptive with explaining everything we needed to know and the place was very cool and welcoming! There were many surprise amenities for us to enjoy like sugar, creamer, and a hair dryer! As well as lots of extra blankets and pillows! We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it to everyone! It was a great birthday trip!

This is a great place to stay if you're in Sandusky. Well-situated if you're going to Cedar Point, Kalahari, Great Wolf Lodge, or any of the major tourist destinations in Sandusky. The location has all of the things you need for a visit. And the Atari arcade game is a great touch! I dare you to try to beat my high score in Rolling Thunder :)

I believe this was our third visit to Mimi’s and we hope to return for many more. We are a large family with six kids ranging from 8-19 and also a six month old. Mimi’s is always accommodating, super responsive and very kind. The electric was off when we first arrived (she had even told us before checking in and provided an estimated turn in time) and we still had no problem checking in and unpacking at least. The large windows provided so much light! My only complaint was the stairways being a little dark and hard to see coming in. Comfy beds, a great kitchen and two bathrooms that made it easy to spend time with our family and enjoy the weekend away!

Beautifully renovated house built in 1900, so it was cool to see the old bones but with updated features and amenities. close to Lake Erie for some good eating and also close to Kalahari, Great Wolf Lodge, and Manor Hill Roller Skating Rink ++ (all great options for kids!). Pet friendly but not recommended for elderly pups who have a hard time with stairs since this is the upstairs unit, plus no backyard for easy potty time. We would definitely to come back and overall, loved the aesthetic and the abundance of space!!

It was a beautiful stay and they went above and beyond to make it a wonderful stay!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. I was looking for a peaceful lake house instead I chose this modern Lakeside retreat. I was so impressed by Doug’s communication. It’s the first time we’ve ever stayed at a Airbnb where the host reached out that after the first night make sure everything was good. We enjoyed all of the amenities. The property had to offer. It was so peaceful. Plus, it’s only about a 10 minute drive to everything else so it’s actually very close. All in all I would say it’s a great value and Doug is a great host.
