We enjoyed our stay at Avista in Mandeville. It is a great location within walking distance to many places in Mandeville, including grocery stores. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and there is 24 hour security. Our unit was very clean and the kitchen area contained everything we needed, including a blender. The design of the shower in the bathroom could use improvement. One end of the shower was open and there was no floor ledge on that section which allowed water to easily go unto the bathroom floor. In addition, there was no shelf in the shower to put soap/shampoo, etc.

Place was neat and clean, Just as seen in the photos. Wayne communication was good and check in was flexible, no regrets.

Had a great stay here with my family. Our host was very friendly and helpful! Very clean and beautiful home! Loved how quiet and peaceful the area was! Would definitely recommend and will visit again!

Quick with responses and very lovely to speak to. The place was exactly how it shows in the photos, in fact. The photos doesn’t do the place justice. Everything was very clean and organised. To my surprise there was a big patio which I believe is the only big patio in the entire building with lots of seating area. Lovely to have a meal outside with the breathtaking view. Bed was extremely comfortable to sleep in. All ac in all rooms are working good. There is a superstore(Megamart) literally next door. Not even a 2 minute walk, which is convenient. They also have hot food restaurant. Honestly one of the best places I have stayed, will definitely be back.

My family and I had a wonderful time. We stayed there for two weeks. The house was spotless and beautifully decorated with lots of space.The backyard is very spacious,The beds were very comfortable, all the appliances were working and there was hot water. The neighborhood was very quiet; it was safe and secure.The property is gated and has surroundings cameras for extra security. It has parking spaces and we had great service from the WiFi , which was a big plus. The location is perfect; it's about 5 minutes to Mandeville town, with nearby supermarkets and shopping areas. Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing. We cannot recommend this property highly enough. The host (Angella) called several times to make sure we were comfortable. We will definitely be back and we will recommend this place to family and friends.

Staying at this one-bedroom apartment in the heart of Mandeville, Jamaica was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how clean, well-stocked, and thoughtfully put together everything was. The apartment gave off a boutique hotel vibe, especially with the cozy balcony and tasteful touches throughout. Cleanliness was clearly a top priority – not only was everything spotless, but the host provided everything you’d need to keep it that way: a vacuum, mop and bucket, dustpan and brush, disinfectants, and cloths. The amenities were unmatched – the kitchen had absolutely everything, from a toaster, kettle, microwave and every utensil (even a can opener!). It truly felt like a home, not just a stay. The AC and ceiling fan kept us super comfortable. There was also a pool we enjoyed, and thoughtful extras like a safe for valuables, suitcase storage, and even an umbrella for rainy days made a big difference. The host were super responsive it was an A+ Stay!

I had a fantastic stay at the beautiful manor with excellent service. It truly felt like a home away from home. Can't wait to return soon!

Janet's place was quiet,comfortably and secure. All your basic amenities is there including hot water and AC. I was there during mangoes season and i eat all i can eat. I definitely will stay there again.

Second time staying at this house and it did not disappoint. It felt like home away from home. Very peaceful and I felt safe at all time. Big shout out to host Lailla for her helpful guidance throughout my stay.

Beautiful, Safe & Peaceful Location. Up in the Hills & Away from the Busy Areas, which is exactly what we wanted! All the rooms were very comfortable. The home in itself is quite Spacious & includes a beautiful backyard! The hosts & grounds staff were extremely helpful in accommodating even the most minute details. Highly recommend if staying in Mandeville & would absolutely rebook.

Winsome was a good host as she met us on the day of check in. I enjoyed my stay at this property. There was Wi-Fi , cable and smart TV. We had access to clean bedding and towels, there was no housekeeping facilities I think you may have to request this from Winsome. She was very understanding as I found out on my return that there was an issue with my son and she handled the matter diplomatically. The bed was a little bit low and hard for me if I am honest but I think it’s because I have issues with back and joint pain. The accommodation was very clean and tidy. Security is tight but polite, make sure you have your ID on entry for all parties on check in as it will be required and you will need to complete a form for all guests at the gate. I do think the property needs some sort of welcome pack I feel that would have been helpful in terms of the local area etc. Next door there was a very nice guest called Norman he was so helpful he made himself readily available at a drop of a hat. He would take us on day trips and take us shopping as and when required, as you really need a car to stay at Drax Hall Manor country club. The accommodation was about 10 minutes walk to get a taxi and approximately 15 minutes walk to the nearest food establishments KFC, Starbucks, Pizza Hut and there is an another place that sells Jamaican food. It’s located between Ocho Rio’s and St Ann’s Bay. The nearest amenities is in Drax hall itself which, is roughly a 21 minute walk, you access to a petrol station, pharmacy, supermarket and atm machine. The property is located 15 minutes away from medical facilities and Knutsford Express. I would recommend renting a vehicle if you are staying at this property as it will be easier for you to get around. I would recommend that you go shopping in St Ann’s Bay as Drax Hall and Ocho Rio’s itself is very expensive to purchase groceries. Drax Manor has a beautiful swimming pool that is supervised from 7am - 9pm, the is a play area for younger children, a gym, basket ball court and tennis court. There is a private beach located about 20 minutes walk away and it’s called Columbus Cove.

I highly recommend this beach house for families or close friends. The host is amazing! she made sure everything was all set upon our arrival. The place is even more beautiful than the photos suggest. This picturesque place has a small stream that leads into the sea, which is just breathtaking. The panoramic view of the crystal clear water was spectacular, I snorkelled and kayaked almost everyday. Be sure to apply your sunscreen. There was something for everyone to do from my 75 year old dad to my 3 year old kid. I will most definately be revisting this gem. Thanks! this made my vacation in Jamaica a memorable one, we felt so safe and had so much fun!

from booking to checking in to checking out Garfield an co host was fabulous and very responsive. the house is just as advertise and the area is very safe am get very cold at nights. we had the opportunity of having a wedding at the property an Garfield an co host went over an beyond to make the day special an made sure everything went smooth. I highly recommend this property an I definitely will be back, there is so much good things to say about this property I was pleased.

Tina was a fantastic host who responded quickly to every request. I love love love how secure I felt in the busy Savanna la Mar and how beautiful the grounds are and how friendly all the locals were. I will definitely stay again!!! Thanks for sharing your lovely place with us, Tina 😊

This was my second time here and i can safely say it does feel like home there's no other places that I'd rather stay when i visit jamaica thank you guys for this remarkable gem i will definitely be back and for all you people who are looking for a nice cool vacation this is the place to be

Ally place was very nice. Ally was a very responsive host and she made sure to check in with us to see how we were doing. Very quiet neighborhood. Ally place was equipped with most things. I only wish they had a toaster and wine glasses other than that everything was nice.

Very beautiful and safe place. The property keeper was extremely helpful, kind, friendly and pleasant. I will definitely return and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the Christiana area

Marlon was friendly and helpful. His house was beautiful inside and out. Very clean and as described and was in a nice gated community. We would book with him again on our next visit to May Pen.

Mrs Foster was very accommodating. I arrived late and she was very understanding. They were very friendly and nice. Place was nice and warm quiet. I loved the bathroom. I will be back
