The place was very nice, great layout for larger groups, with ample bedrooms & bathrooms. The pool was great and the location of the property was great, it felt very secluded even though it was in a community. The ability to rent a van through the host was really convenient, and saved the headaches of renting a vehicle at the airport. What really stood out about the stay however was the concierge for the property Melissa. in the months leading up to our stay Melissa was extremely helpful in finding things to do, identifying and booking shuttles to/from San Jose, questions about the area/guides, and ensuring everything went smoothly. I can't stress enough how much of a help she was! Through Melissa we hired the private chef for 2 meals, and the decision was a hit. The cost to bring the chefs out was very reasonable and the grocery cost for the meals was also very reasonable. The amount of food was really great for the cost, and we were left with leftovers for lunches.

Llegamos muy tarde con 3 niños en la familia, cansados después de tantas horas en el auto, veníamos del norte del país. Ana y Beatriz nos esperaron y trajeron cena para toda la familia fue un gesto muy especial. La propiedad es preciosa, la cocina completa y la vista insuperable. Está muy cerca de todo: restaurantes, supermercados y hay muchas actividades por hacer.

Un alojamiento y entorno hermoso, con vista impresionante. Toda la casa limpia y ordenada, amplio espacio de parqueo y para compartir en grupo. Regresaríamos sin dudarlo.

I absolutely loved staying at John’s place! I cannot recommend it enough! The entire space was extremely clean and comfortable. I got amazing sleep because of how comfortable the beds and sheets (no joke!) were. We loved utilizing the pool and hot tub! John really thought of everything for this space! There are so many thoughtful amenities. It’s conveniently located and isn’t too far from the marina (excellent fishing), amazing restaurants, fun excursions, and supermarkets! I went to the supermarket several times and they had a great selection! We did river rafting and went to Antonio Manuel National Park (close by). There are some beautiful beaches in the area too. John was extremely easy to communicate with and quick to respond. This was my 21st country to visit and I’ve been to over 30 of the US states. I can confidently say this has been my favorite Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. I am a travel agent as well and would not hesitate sending my clients here! Highly recommended!!

This home over exceeded our expectations. What an amazing stay, along with the pool and property maintenance. It was a surprise trip for my girlfriend and 9 month old son which I had plans to purpose a few days after, which went absolutely perfect. 5 stars across the board! Highly HIGHLY recommend! Our stay was amazing thanks to Arliny. She was incredibly kind and attentive to every detail. The house was spotless, very spacious, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the main beach and close to several others as well. You can tell a lot of care goes into the place. We would definitely stay here again!

La casa esta muy bien. Algunas mejoras como las aspersiones de los baños y utensilios de la cocina serian ideales. Las camas, la piscina y demás mobiliario estuvieron excelente. Muy recomendable para pasar en familia. Mi familia disfruto mucho y la pasamos muy bien. Los jardines preciosos.

We hebben genoten van ons verblijf in het huisje van Katrin. Het gehele huis is goed verzorgd en goed aangepast op de warme en regenachtige weersomstandigheden in een regenwoud. Het ligt een beetje buiten het drukke gebied van Manuel Antonio, wat voor ons een pre is! Eigen vervoer is wel een must. Het zwembad is echt een geweldige toevoeging, maar ook de uitgebreide keuken en verschillende zithoekjes zijn heerlijk thuiskomen na een trip in de omgeving. En uiteraard zagen we wildlife in de omgeving. Doodshoofdaapjes, Ara's, Toekans en Rood oog boomkikkers zijn rondom de woning te bewonderen. Het was een van de favoriete verblijven van onze kinderen in Costa Rica! Katrin heeft ons ook nog heel goed geholpen met een excellente gids, Roy. aanrader!

We stayed here with our family (group of five) for six days and had such a great time in this fantastic accommodation. Robert was very friendly, gave us all the information we needed in advance and had great tips on activities and restaurants on site and in the area. We would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone.

Where do I possibly start my summation of this paradise? I'm writing this now while on the plane home. Reliving my experience at Chris & Kristen's propery gives me a smile on my face even when I must return home. The personal touch stood out in a magnificent way. The knowledge of the country, the region, the local places. I felt like I was the only person on their property to care for during my stay. After a rain storm, late at night... I was treated to a tour when the vegetation was at its glory. The sounds, scenery, plant life, and different species of life were amazing. The carefully planned out grounds are a treasure... And constantly being upgraded and cared for everyday. The Villa was awesome. Had everything needed. Beautifully air conditioned, and kept. Bed comfortable, great size refrigerator, and perfectly configured stove. The view from my Villa was incredible, to say the least. My new friends will see me again. Their striving for my comfort was unmatched! TY

Two words “ absolutely breathtaking”! I think that pretty much sums up this place. The Host and his team were all super helpful. The property is located on top of a Mountain with INCREDIBLE views. You get a full on view of the tail once the tide recedes. The place was extremely modern and clean. I absolutely loved every piece of decor throughout the villa. I would recommend this place over and over again, to everybody. One thing I would recommend, is that you take the hosts’ advice and stop at the Supermarket at the foot of the mountain before going up. It’s a good 20mins just to get back down for some water😂

The House is Amazing & Oscar the concierge was very attentive and helpful setting up our daily excursions. This was a Great trip to Costa Rica!

Villa la Forresta is a total gem. if you're looking for a quiet(er), private spot near Manuel Antonio this is the place for you. The house is beautiful, the landscaping is lush, the pool cool, and the wildlife comes to you. From the grand second floor balcony we saw capuchins, spider monkeys, macaws, butterflies and the ubiquitous lizards. The property features three cabins. We stayed in the large 3 bedroom house. It should be noted that the third bedroom is semi detached from the main house with a separate entrance and no attached bathroom. This is a plus or minus depending on your situation. Your host Silvia is wonderful and responsive. she was able to provide great suggestions for activities and helped to arrange transport for us north to Jaco. A/C in the bedrooms, WiFi, laundry, and a BBQ area next to the pool completes the amenities. We loved our experience and hope to come back again.

Our stay in Quepos was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely taken care of, thanks to Mefi, our amazing concierge. He went above and beyond to make our trip seamless and memorable—handling everything from transportation to top-notch restaurant recommendations and incredible activities. One of the highlights of our stay was having a team of massage therapists come in for a private session, which was truly next-level relaxation. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, allowing us to fully unwind and enjoy the beauty of Quepos/Manuel Antonio stress-free. If you're looking for a luxurious, worry-free experience with impeccable service, this is the place to stay. We can't recommend it enough and will absolutely be back! Our family had a very peaceful stay. We enjoyed the pool in the early morning and evening. Very clean home. We appreciated the laundry option and dishwasher. The road up is very steep and would not recommend it at night. We saw toucans, parakeets and the howler monkeys (6) were in the big tree next to the house in the early evening. Bring insect repellant as you are in nature. Shower pressure and heat excellent. Very comfy beds. View of the ocean and mountains incredible as well as bedroom views. The kids swam at dominicolita beach which had huge waves- the Dominica beach was red flag and lifeguard only recommended going in to your knees.

J’ai adoré le séjour! C’était super d’avoir accès à la plage. Une petite maison confortable avec tout ce dont on avait besoin! Excellent rapport qualité-prix. À noter que de cet endroit, on dépend un peu de la voiture pour accéder aux restaurants d’Uvita, mais ça vaut le prix de la tranquillité!

La ubicación de la cabañita es perfecta, aparte que está súper equipada con todo!!! Hasta freidora de aire, es pequeña pero perfecta, y si le ponemos el millón de estrellas que se ven gracias a la poca contaminación de luz que hay, y escuchar el viento en los árboles, no tiene precio, la recomiendo mil veces!!

El lugar muy bonito, lo único es que en el cuarto principal la luz pega full a las 6 am, por lo demás,una cabaña muy linda

Very nice place, quiet and very relxing the jacuzzi zone

This place is Such a hidden Gem. The view from the jacuzzi on our own private balcony was just incredible. We even had a toucan land in the tree right above us while we were in the jacuzzi. Our host also made us a traditional Costa Rican breakfast which was delicious.

Todo estaba super bien, muy bonito, la casa preciosa, muy limpia y ordenada, realmente cómodo. Por lo demás una experiencia formidable.

Fuimos en familia y nos acomodamos muy bien las 5 personas y una gata ☺️, el ambiente es muy tranquilo. La chimenea es acogedora y fácil de utilizar. Fuimos en carro a varios restaurantes cercanos, como en Santa María de Dota y disfrutamos el trayecto también. Excelente lugar para descansar, con una vista linda desde el balcón y el aire muy puro !

Metamorfinca is an absolutely stunning property that blends luxury and peaceful simplicity. We had multiple folks in our party. Our family of four stayed in Casa Cascada and our accompanying single guest stayed in a Jungle Pod. Casa Cascada is perfect for families or two couples. You will feel at home with all of the amenities you need in the kitchen (including fresh eggs from their farm), two bathrooms, and two well appointed bedrooms. There is a shared deck in the living area and an individual balcony off of each bedroom. Everyone can be together and yet have individual space to breathe. And the attention to detail in design is amazing, for those who appreciate such things. The Jungle Pod is awesome for 1-2 people. Again, beautifully designed and super functional and well equipped. And then there is all to enjoy on the property— a pool, hot tub, yoga shala, gardens, animals, river and more. We are so grateful for our time there and can’t wait to go back to continue the magic.
