Mary has a very nice top floor flat on the edge of Dunoon. The property has good sized rooms and is well equipted with everything you would need. The location suited us well it that it is convenient for locations such as Benmore Botanical Gardens and other places of local interest. A half hour drive to the short drive on drive off ferry crossing at Conintraive made for an easy and scenic journey to Rothesay. All in Marys property is very convenient and good value, and we would have no hesitation booking again in the future.

Perfect location for walking to everywhere in Old Town. Lots to do, see, eat and experience and then you can return to the flat to rest your feet.

Kay's place was like a home from home for me. Everything was clean, well to hand. Quiet location with great view from living room. The added touch of supplying fresh milk, bread, eggs and margarine was a thoughful touch after the long 8 hours drive to Alness. If I am ever back in the area again I'd definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Amazing location with easy access to all the Edinburgh has to offer. The apartment was quite spacious and everything functioned as promised. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

beautiful 3 double bed apartment. Spacious, spotlessly clean with everything you would need contained within. A real home from home. the location was fantastic. Central and everything within walking distance. We hired a car to explore the island and get us to and from the airport. Ample parking on the road outside the flat. Carina, our host, popped in on our arrival to welcome us and was very helpful with her local knowledge on good places to go. Our three day visit was a great break and we all thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Shetland and couldn't have picked a better place to stay. 10 out of 10!

Geweldig mooi en ruim appartement. Het was heerlijk warm toen we binnenkwamen. Een prachtige omgeving, en een appartement waarbij aan alles gedacht is. Compleet uitgeruste keuken en er was zelfs een airfryer aanwezig. Dvd's en spelletjes volop aanwezig. Makkelijk parkeren. We hebben genoten van ons verblijf en komen graag nog een keer terug.

We had a fantastic time in Edinburgh and Colin’s place provided the perfect resting spot away from the hustle and bustle of the City Centre but super close and walkable nonetheless. Can’t wait to come back!

Lynn’s place is most delightful, with everything you could possibly need, supplied & every detail covered. Everything is immaculate & all appliances new & work well. Thank you Lynn, we had THE most comfortable stay🤗

We took our 2 teenagers and dog away for a couple of nights to chill out & we done exactly that! The house was exactly what we were after, location was amazing, right on the banks of the loch, along with hot tub and coal fire & absolutely peace we have had the best weekend, didn't want to leave. George was very helpful, messaging us before and after we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed. The village shop is literally just 2 mins walk with all your needs if you forget to bring anything. Very friendly and served the most amazing coffee and homemade cakes. Can't wait to return soon. Perfect stay in this lovely part of Shetland. Orwick Lodge is wonderful in terms of comfort, facilities provided and stunning views. So much birdlife to see from the comfort of the sofa! Michael and Mandy are very caring and provide lots of information on the area. Lots of extras too, including the complimentary mussels, which were delicious.

A fantastic location both for sitting in the living area/ garden and enjoying the stunning views and peace and quiet, and for exploring Coigach and Assynt. The house was wonderful - equipped with everything you could need, spotlessly clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Lochinver is just down the road with a couple of cafes, restaurants and local store. Although if you drive through Ullapool you may want to get some provisions from the Tesco there. Charlie was great at communicating with us and making us feel welcome in his beautiful house. Would definitely recommend.

Jill’s home is everything you could want and more. It was warm and cozy the minute we walked in on a blustery December evening. David was there to meet and greet us and give us the tour, list local restaurants and give suggestions to attractions. The scenery from the bay window is spectacular and we witnessed a storm on the Irish Sea where the waves amused all my party for hours. We went on a walks along the seas edge taking us through harbors, sheep filled fields, caves, beaches and rock pools on some of the calmer days, photographs just don’t do the scenery any justice. It really is a beautiful part of Ireland. Not far from some great restaurants and the local villages have a charm all of their own. The home is immaculate and very well decorated. The kitchen extremely well stocked, lovely fresh towels and linens and a cozy little tv room to snuggle in to watch a movie after a windy walk. Would highly recommend Jill’s home and her as a host. We had a fabulous time.

The West Wing is beautiful. It is quiet; rural; well-equipped and a perfect place to relax. My son and his wife live about 10 minutes away which is why the Wedt Wing was a perfect location for me. Richard and Pam are lovely and very helpful. I will definitely be staying at the West Wing again. (I only got half way up Slemish because I’m still recovering from my knee replacement, but shall get to the top next time!😁).

X4 of us on mountain bikes stayed for x2 nights , couldn’t fault it, Willie nice and friendly and gives good advice about local pubs and restaurants etc the bike storage was brilliant beds were comfy everything worked as it should and to add to it there was some lovely cake left for us along with milk butter tea coffee etc, when we come back we will be certainly be booking here again. We loved our stay. The house (Byre) is beautiful and far more spacious than photos give credit for. Added bonus for us, wheelchair accessable from patio doors into kitchen/dinning/lounge area. Wheelchair accessible into downstairs bathroom/shower and bedroom. There is a shower stool in cupboard next to bathroom. The upstairs landing area has a cosy couch/snug between bedrooms and upstairs toilet/Shower room. Beautiful scenory surrounding Cottages and we all completely felt at home and relaxed instantly. House very clean and fresh. Stranraer in walking distance with pavement at road end of cottages. Lovely walking options around cottages. Kitchen comes very well equipped and decent sized fridge freezer. We look forward to returning.

Wir waren zwar nur eine Nacht hier, aber das Hostel liegt wirklich super. Wer die Abgeschiedenheit liebt und die ynstur ist hier genau richtig.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Armoury. The apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable, well equipped and warm (despite the cold weather). The location is very convenient (with shops within easy walking distance) but tucked away/quiet (especially overnight). Catrina was helpful, friendly and responsive. Recommended.

Very nice flat with balcony and view overlooking water of Leith. Great location, peaceful surroundings. Included parking was great for day road trips to places around Edinburgh.

We are just back home after a short break in Lochaline. It really is a beautiful apartment with an amazing view across the water to Mull. The house was fully accessible with parking right outside the door, all on one level and an easily accessible shower. Very much needed for me as I’m disabled and it can be so hard to find suitable places to stay. The house was very clean with a great selection of utensils and supplies like fairy and dishwasher tablets. I highly recommend a stay at Lesley’s place!

What a fantastic place to stay in Edinburgh! So central yet nice and quiet. We stayed with our one year old son and it was great having a travel cot and high chair at the flat. We used the kitchen during our stay which was very functional. I would 100 percent stay here again when next in Edinburgh. Thank you Sonia and Chris!
