We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house. It has everything one could ask for. It is bright and cosy with very very very comfortable beds and great views. Perfectly located for exploring the island as well as just a short stroll away from a beautiful beach and great walks. We had such a great time and hope to be back in the, hopefully, not so distant future.

A fantastic location both for sitting in the living area/ garden and enjoying the stunning views and peace and quiet, and for exploring Coigach and Assynt. The house was wonderful - equipped with everything you could need, spotlessly clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Lochinver is just down the road with a couple of cafes, restaurants and local store. Although if you drive through Ullapool you may want to get some provisions from the Tesco there. Charlie was great at communicating with us and making us feel welcome in his beautiful house. Would definitely recommend.

Exceptional in every way. It worked perfectly for us as a base to enjoy the local golf courses, North Berwick and Edinburgh. Beautifully presented, thoughtfully laid out and extremely functional, we wanted for nothing, Steph had thought of everything. It felt like a 5* luxury stay. We’ll definitely be back soon, felt like there’s so much to see and do locally. We got lucky with the weather but I’m sure it would be equally relaxing to hunker down at the Barn in bad weather! All of Steph’s recommendations were great and being walking distance from the train and the town was such a bonus. Can’t wait to return! Thanks again!

X4 of us on mountain bikes stayed for x2 nights , couldn’t fault it, Willie nice and friendly and gives good advice about local pubs and restaurants etc the bike storage was brilliant beds were comfy everything worked as it should and to add to it there was some lovely cake left for us along with milk butter tea coffee etc, when we come back we will be certainly be booking here again. Moira and Stuart were friendly welcoming hosts and we had a very comfortable stay in their lovely home. Nothing was too much trouble for them. It was lovely coming back to a comfy bed and a good night's sleep after a busy wedding. Moira prepared a lovely breakfast for us each morning. We were given good advice about a lovely riverside walk into St Andrews.

Had an amazing hen do here! The host was lovely and super fast at responding whenever I had any questions. Can’t recommend the cottage enough! The hot tub was the icing on the cake. Thank you for a lovely weekend x

A fantastic place to stay. More than met our expectations. As a group of friends we loved everything about it. The beds extremely comfortable, showers powerful and plenty of hot water. Kitchen well equipped and had everything we needed. We ate together in the dining room and the lounge area had plenty of room for us to sit together in the evening. We were able to walk into Carnoustie. For us the icing on the cake were the hot tubs.

Second stay at Liz’s place. We were happy with it on the first stay but the second proved we were right to go back. Everything you need for a home from home. Ideal location. Close to town and beach. Everything in the house is quality. Very comfortable all round. Facilities are easy to use. Good restaurants and bars very close, also not far from the train station. We were in Glasgow within the hour. We had a lovely break this time as well. Look forward to the next time.

Perfect location for walking to everywhere in Old Town. Lots to do, see, eat and experience and then you can return to the flat to rest your feet.

Geweldig mooi en ruim appartement. Het was heerlijk warm toen we binnenkwamen. Een prachtige omgeving, en een appartement waarbij aan alles gedacht is. Compleet uitgeruste keuken en er was zelfs een airfryer aanwezig. Dvd's en spelletjes volop aanwezig. Makkelijk parkeren. We hebben genoten van ons verblijf en komen graag nog een keer terug.

Lynn’s place is most delightful, with everything you could possibly need, supplied & every detail covered. Everything is immaculate & all appliances new & work well. Thank you Lynn, we had THE most comfortable stay🤗

Lovely two bedroom apartment. Warm & comfortable. The hosts were extremely helpful and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. Loved the rural location and setting. Plenty of parking and electric charging point also very useful. Great communication prior to our stay. Highly recommended for a stay in the North Lakes area.

Heather was so helpful as we arrived early and messaged her and she replied quickly to say we could checkin early, She gave us advice about beach dog walks. Flat is in beautiful woodland setting.

A wonderful “ home from home” for the 4 of us and the dog !!! Just perfect in every way !

What a fantastic place to stay in Edinburgh! So central yet nice and quiet. We stayed with our one year old son and it was great having a travel cot and high chair at the flat. We used the kitchen during our stay which was very functional. I would 100 percent stay here again when next in Edinburgh. Thank you Sonia and Chris!

Wir waren zwar nur eine Nacht hier, aber das Hostel liegt wirklich super. Wer die Abgeschiedenheit liebt und die ynstur ist hier genau richtig.

Beautiful location so peaceful with wonderful scenery. The place had been done up which was a lovely surprise very modern, clean and had everything we needed. Loved our stay, great location to explore and lovely to come back to at the end of the day !

We really enjoyed our stay at The Armoury. The apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable, well equipped and warm (despite the cold weather). The location is very convenient (with shops within easy walking distance) but tucked away/quiet (especially overnight). Catrina was helpful, friendly and responsive. Recommended.
