This little oasis of green is in a super handy location on the edge of the greenbelt, yet near the Team Valley, Metrocentre and Newcastle. There's a bus stop directly outside, with buses into central Newcastle every 30min in the day. Watergate Forest Park is right next door, with a fantastic cafe, lake, swans & lots of other wildlife. We're only a couple of miles from the C2C cycle route, with easy access to lots of other cycle routes & walks.

The Sheepwash Shepherds Hut Morpeth

Beautiful cosy Shepherds Hut with views over the local countryside. Our bespoke hand made, wood fired hot tub offers a unique bathing experience. Enjoy the natural warmth of the water, heated and ready for your arrival. This does need to be booked in advance, a minimum of 24 hours notice is required at a charge of £40. If your stay is longer than one night we can empty, refill and reheat for a small charge of £15.00 per night.

Carriage No. 1 is one of four unique rentals, uniquely positioned where Tyne & Wear, County Durham and Northumberland converge. Wild swimming, fishing, cycling and endless walks are just beyond the gate. Star-filled skies, owls, deer and badgers await.
