Brilliant place to spend my birthday. Around the corner from a monkey sanctuary and 30 min drive from Swansea. Getting a taxi to Swansea is difficult and expensive but other than that the location is great

Was a perfect stay from start to finish, we had Absolutely nothing to complain about. Clean, perfect location and peaceful!

We had an excellent stay. All amenities were close by. The house was clean and everything we required was available. The hot tub was lovely. The walk to the beach was fine, but difficult if young kids were with you, or not reasonably fit. We would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay for family and friends. We all enjoyed the facilities and felt really comfortable in the home. Thanks!

Joy and Tom were absolutely amazing and extremely generous! It’s a perfect place to stay if you want a romantic place to stay with a loved one or a small getaway with a friend, my partner and I absolutely loved it. The coach house is absolutely adorable and the amenities are just as listed. The service was amazing and the area is beautiful. I could not recommend this stay enough. ❤️

We had a fantastic stay in the Brecon Beacons for the Easter holiday. Clare was a very welcoming host who provided easy to follow directions and a very hospitable welcome including fine cake and prosecco. The accommodation was exactly what we wanted with all the amenities described including gym and hot tub. The home is very well located for walking, it is even possible to walk to Pen y Fan directly from the house! A special thanks to her son-in-law T who was very helpful and enjoyable company!

Wonderful stay overall - perfect location with beautiful views as soon as you drive into the property and brilliant walks all around, with a short drive into the local towns. Hosts were brilliant and kindly set up decorations for a birthday before our arrival which was just perfect for a surprise trip! Overall a very peaceful stay with plenty of wonderful animal encounters and beautiful views of the stars at night. Only things to note is that it can get a bit warm inside with the good weather, as expected for most country property, and the property is close to family grounds so there will be people passing by etc but this was not an issue for us. Would 100% recommend this place as a countryside getaway that is well worth the money! Thank you for having us, we hope to be back!

James was very responsive when we had trouble finding the place (due to technical problems accessing the airbnb website with the full address). He stayed on the phone with us as we drove and gave us instructions. The place was very homey and comfortable, mostly clean, with the exception of minor issues. Some small amount of mould in one of the bathrooms. There was a homemade cake for us which was delicious. We had a great time staying there.

This was our second stay here, which says it all - everything is perfect - the excellent location, beautiful decor, pristine cleanliness, comfortable beds etc etc ….100% recommend

Owl barn was absolutely amazing beautifully decorated all appliances and furnishings you’ll ever need the views from the rear were stunning with the fields and free roaming ponies and sheep right outside the back door. The games room kept our 2 teenager girls occupied which was great for us! Alex was the perfect host couldn’t do enough for us was always on hand if we needed anything. Even took out 2 girls out in the morning with her to attend to the animals which they loved. If I could more than 5 stars I would!! Highly recommend this cottage and host

We have just had a wonderful few days at Dan's beautiful house. The weather was really bad for part of our stay, but it was so lovely being able to walk to restaurants (thanks to Dan's brilliant recommendations) and light the lovely wood burner in the evenings. The house itself is beautifully restored and super convenient for a family with a toddler. We didn't end up using the car once during our stay as there were so many things to do within easy walking distance. Thank you so much to Dan and his family for being such brilliant hosts!

David and Becca were very responsive with their messages providing helpful check in and check out messages. The cottage was cosy and the games room and tennis court a bonus!

We were only here for 2 nights but would have loved to stay longer. Stacie & Helen gave very clear instructions to help us get to the right address . The place was cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed. They were so kind to bake us a cake while we were there!

We stayed for 2 nights at Sharon’s place and were very happy with everything about the house and area. I had not realised how rural the village was and loved the views from the back door watching the sun rise over the hill. The house was spotless and well appointed. The welcome pack was a nice touch although we had brought food with us. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. We had an Indian takeaway from Merthyr Tydfil the first night which we collected. Only 18 minutes drive away, then cooked the second night. Plenty of utensils in the kitchen. We loved the drive over the moors with the fabulous views and had a wonderful hike in the Brecon Beacons. We also visited Brecon and enjoyed having a look around d the shops. Sharon was very responsive and able to give recommendations. We would recommend to anyone planning to explore the area.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is in a beautiful location with amazing views. We were worried about the road to the house as it was long and steep but excellent instructions really helped and both our cars got right to the top. One of our cars was electric and low too! The house was cosy and homely and sitting by the log fire in the evening was a real treat. We went for a walk from the cottage and saw even more amazing views. About an hour's drive away were also some beautiful waterfalls. It is a perfect location if you like to get away from it all, enjoy being surrounded by nature but still have the comforts of a warm and welcoming house.

Lovely cozy traditional cottage in great location for a short break. More spacious than anticipated from the photos, wish we could have stayed for longer. Welcoming and communicative hosts. Would recommend.

We had such a lovely stay here! The place was really pretty and peaceful—perfect for a quiet getaway. It felt really secluded and private, surrounded by beautiful countryside and farm animals, which made it feel extra special. There was also a lovely walk to a nearby pub, which was a great bonus. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing escape in nature!

What a stunning and peaceful location. John was so lovely and made us feel very welcome. He was so generous to show my 8 year old all the animals and the tractor. He was a big fan. Contact was easy and we were provided some fresh eggs on arrival. I’m confident we will stay again.

Extremely well serviced upon arrival , milk ,breakfast cereal ,lots of bathroom products and cleaners for kitchen surfaces , was given exact directions being a 15 min walk to local pub the property gives easy access to Cardiff and points of interest locally also within a couple of hours to the Cotswolds and Wye valley .

Firstly, we both want to thank Oeter for allowing us to stay in such a beautiful cottage. It was clean, cosy, quiet, homely...just everything as was described! Everything to the last detail was thought out, including walking routes, local restuarants and pubs there is an entire wall of leaflets as soon as you enter the property of everything that area of south wales has to offer so you really are spoilt for choice. The property was clean and imaculate and with everything you needed, such a stunning place to stay! If you are looking for a quiet retreat for a few days look no further! 10/10 will deffo be coming back! Thank you again for such a lovely stay! Martin & Cara

Good facilities, peaceful, good ambience, warm and cozy. It was a bit hard to find the turnoff when we arrived in last light - it did help to read the detailed location information that our hosts had sent, and to put the actual street address they sent us into Google.
