Familienfreundliche Ferienunterkünfte in Sintra

Rita's place was the nicest Airbnb I have ever stayed in. We stayed with 8 adults & it was very comfortable for all. This place has everything you could need for your stay including a full kitchen with all equipment, several spacious double bedrooms with extremely comfortable beds, air conditioning in each room, there was a beautiful back garden area with a swimming pool, sun loungers and a long table for meals outside. We spent a lot of time enjoying the outdoor space. There was also a fantastic barbeque outside which we made use of and made lovely group dinners. The games room downstairs was an amazing touch and we had such fun using it. The location here was brilliant, it was about a 7 minute walk to the supermarket and lots of restaurants and the beach. Everything you need closeby! We would highly recommend booking this place in Ericeira if you are planning a trip there. Communication with the host was perfect, we will be back! Excellent séjour au coeur de Lisbon. Ariane nous a accueilli de façon extrêmement gentille et prévenante dans son appartement, malgré une arrivée plus tardive que prévu. Tout est fait pour se sentir comme chez soi, il ne manque ni d'espace ni de confort, ni d'équipement. Le quartier très central est idéal pour visiter Lisbon, et calme la nuit, même s'il peut sembler un peu moins sécurisant que d'autres quartiers de Lisbon. juste à noter que les escaliers sont un peu raides mais comme je pense partout dans le vieux centre de Lisbon. Encore merci à Ariane pour ce merveilleux sejour

We had a wonderful short stay at Vladimir's place. The location is excellent, overlooking the ocean. You can take a nice walk towards a viewing spot or take just 3 minutes by car to get to the beach. It's a great place to stay for a family who wants to enjoy warm and sunny days in Ericeira. And do plan to visit Mafra to tour the National Mafra Palace, a fantastic place to visit. A house is well equipped, well planned, and taken care of. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our 3 nights in the historic center of Sintra. It’s a beautiful small town area to be in. The apartment has everything you need. The location is very cool overlooking the main square. We enjoyed watching the town wake up in the mornings. So many restaurants and bakeries just steps from the front door. We had fun with that after coming from the Azores which are very quiet and remote. In the off season of early May, Sintra closes down by 7 pm. There are very few restaurants or shops open once the day tripping tourists leave. We were surprised by that but didn’t mind it as we were tired after our days spent walking around palaces and castles and beautiful gardens. I’d recommend this apartment to anyone as long as they don’t have mobility issues. There are 33 steps to climb once inside the building. Climbing them was worth it for the views of the historic center of Sintra.

Ana and Jorge's flat is lovely - clean, quiet and comfortable, in a great area of the city away from the busy areas but with everything easily accessible. We found Ana and Jorge to be very kind and generous hosts. We felt very much looked after. Lisbon is a beautiful and interesting city and this is the perfect flat for a lovely holiday. Walk five minutes to the viewpoint at the top of Parque Eduardo for the most stunning view!

Wonderful home that matches the host. Stunning from inside to out and very well maintained. The children (and adults) were very entertained with the arcade room and others. Great bbq which I recommend using as not many restaurants for large groups (unless you drive a bit) the kitchen was excellent, not only was it fully equipped, but the equipment was all in very good order to use. Good size grounds where the kids could burn energy and it’s helped to have such large car space at the front as we had 3 vehicles. As we went in December with the cooler weather the pool didn’t quite heat up enough to use (although the daring kids braved the chill and went in a couple of times). Also due to the cooler months it was difficult to get longer periods of hot water so we had to be mindful of when taking showers etc. Overall this is a 5* property and host and couldn’t recommend enough!

Lino was super responsive to any questions/requests I had. He offered a lot of helpful local insights volunteered much help (e.g., making reservations for dinner at places impossible to book last minute). The view from all rooms are simply stunning!! Plenty of dining options near by, a few minutes drive to many wonderful beaches for swimming or surfing. Supermarket is three drive away as well, which also offer excellent cheap but nice cook to order quick bites. So much can be said about the property, location, and the host. Definitely one of the better gems from all the super hosts I have stayed with and strongly recommend to any sizable group of four to eight.

Parfait pour un voyage en famille avec 3 chambres et une très belle surprise avec une mezzanine très lumineuse afin de profiter de bon moment, cela permet aussi d’avoir un coin TV pour ceux qui le souhaite. Petit piscine agréable mais non chauffé à prendre en considération. 2 salles d’eau très agréable en famille et un chambre un peu séparée pour les enfants. Très bon accueil et conseil de la propriétaire. Proche de Sintra et de l’océan avec une vraie tranquillité. Je recommande

We hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf in het appartement van Nathy. Een hele hartelijke ontvangst met duidelijke uitleg over het appartement. Alles wat je nodig hebt, is aanwezig. Nathy is erg behulpzaam. De ligging is prachtig. Uitzicht op de zee, prachtig.

Such a FENOMENAL stay! Absolutely flawless, from the moment we checked in up to our last minute at this property. I only wish Airbnb would allow me to give 10 stars so I could give a more accurate review. Once my husband and I arrived here with our dog, it only took us 30 minutes to realise it would be extremely hard to leave this property, so we immediately reached out to the owner and requested to extend our stay. If you're looking for a peaceful, BEAUTIFUL place to relax, connect with nature and unplug from the hectic city life, this is it. You'll be surprised on how quickly you'll feel like home. And if you're a dog owner looking for a place where you and your pup can both be overwhelmed with nature sounds, new smells and loads of sunbathing, than look no further. Besides being a formidable host, Aline also makes natural, delicious dog treats that will drive your buddy crazy :) We are so grateful to Aline and her team and we are most definitely coming back.

Sehr schönes großes Anwesen mit ausreichend Platz für eine sehr große Gruppe. Toller Blick in die Ferne. Leider hatten wir nicht so viel Glück mit dem Wetter, sodass wir den Pool nicht nutzen konnten. Es gab ein paar kleinere Defekte aber Antonio hat sich direkt gekümmert. Die Unterkunft ist zu Beginn etwas schwierig zu finden, aber dann super gelegen. Aber man sollte ein Auto dabei haben. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

A friendly reception and a quirky house with lots of character. A great place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of Sintra, but perfect if you have a car and like to self cater.

Patricia’s place was perfect for our stay. The location was great, closer to the Pena Palace and Moorish Castle than from Sintra. Sao Pedro is a lovely little quiet village with great restaurants 5 mins walking. The unit was as described, was bigger I think than the photos seemed. Modern kitchen and bathroom, comfortable bed and really quiet. Patricia was a lovely host, so helpful and friendly, we would recommend a stay at her place to anyone.

We zijn een maand in het huis van Margarida geweest en hebben het goed gehad! Er waren vanuit het huis leuke weggetjes te ontdekken om te wandelen en de omgeving biedt sowieso een heleboel moois! Je bent zo in Sintra, Ericeira, Colares, Lissabon… we waren ook bij het Middeleeuws festival in Obidos. Met de auto kom je op de meest fantastische plekken; kastelen, tuinen, kloosters, en de adembenemende kust. Het huis zelf was sfeervol en we hebben genoten van de LP’s, de mooie boeken en de dieren! Jane, de hond, was erg lief. Het varken en de schapen kregen met regelmaat ons oude brood en de restjes. Onze jongens baalden dat de wifi de slaapkamers niet bereikten, maar voor ons alleen maar pluspunten. Margarida was de ideale gastvrouw. Lief en betrokken. Dank 🙏

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Es ist ein schönes Haus mit Blick auf das Meer. Alles war sehr sauber und auch frisch gestrichen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie geben sich wirklich sehr viel Mühe, damit man sich wohl fühlt. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt.

Heerlijk verblijf. Toen heel Portugal zonder stroom zat hadden wij stroom, internet en een zwembad. Marie Louisa stond altijd klaar, ook toen mijn dochter tandarts nodig had.

The house is a very comfortable space for a family with two kids. Specious enough and located in quiet area. It is well maintained and had everything we needed. The only thing is electric lightning in the living room which is too dim and not very pleasant for eyes. Very good supermarket is just around the corner, though no restaurants or cafes around. If you have a car it shouldn't be a problem as there is huge shopping mall with a great food court in 5 min drive. Particia is a great host, very helpful and friendly, she made our stay nice and cozy. All in all, we wouldn't think of any other option if we came to Sintra again. We would love to come back. I definitely recommend this place.

What a fantastic stay. Excellent hosts. Fantastic restaurant recommendations. Everything we could possibly have needed was in the house and our wonderful hosts were always available if needed. House is so great. We were a group of 2 families with 2 adults and 2 children each and it was perfect. Warm, kind, thoughtful hosts with a beautiful house near sintra, Lisbon, Cascais and a number of beautiful beaches … what more could you ask for?!

If you’d love to deconnect(* but there is wifi) and enjoy a simple life in the country distracted only by nature and the craftsmanship from yesteryear, this is your place. Respectfully and beautifully restored (not remodelled or redesigned), this little town is quaint beyond words. We were 6 to stay in the Winehouse and we were all awed (ages 24- 63) by the warmth and charm our home had to offer. From the stone kitchen sink & countertop to the old brass patinad taps and wonderful wood furnishings to the stone walls. A huge wine press separated the kitchen from the living room space while not closing it off so we were always together. A large farmhouse dining table was great for our few dinners at home but daily breakfast with the fresh warm bread delivered to our door every morning. We were also treated to home baked goodies: warm traditional oatmeal one day, fresh cheese, pumpkin jam and other special treats. This place made the 2nd leg of our trip so unique that is was a highlight
