The Smithy at Cross Pipes, Goathland

The Smithy is a self contained stone built cottage situated on the edge of the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors. It was built in the 1800’s and was originally one of two blacksmiths serving the community of Goathland. The Smithy offers you a comfortable base to visit the local area. Hilda Cottage is a 17th Century dwelling. The front door enters to the living area, downstairs is the kitchen. Upstairs is a double bedroom (WC ensuite) with sea views, and main bathroom, the top floor is the loft bedroom (double & single bed) and sea views! Periwinkle cottage is a beautifully renovated property, perfectly located in the centre of the quaint village of Ruswarp but a short walk to the centre of Whitby. The open plan lounge, with comfortable seating, smart tv leads to a luxury fitted kitchen which in turn leads to a private outdoor space, ideal for lazing in the sun and Al fresco dining. Upstairs, the property has 2 bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other featuring a small double, and a family bathroom.
