This was our second time staying at the lake house, and everything was just as wonderful as the first time. Joe and Izzy were the perfect hosts, always there to help and provide any information needed. The house and property continue to be drop-dead gorgeous, but it remains an extremely comfortable and livable home to stay in. This is by far the best Airbnb or VRBO that we have ever stayed at, and we would highly recommend it without hesitation. Definitely a 10 out of 10. Many thanks to Joe and Izzy for creating such a special place.

I held an event at Dano's place, it was the best place in the area, and nonetheless as everyone says, he is an amazing host. He had no problem with helping me set-up, helping create a useful area, and the greatest hospitality experience thus far. Would not shy away, and any future events will absolutely be done there!

This place was awesome! It was incredibly clean and all of the amenities were great. The sauna, hot tub, and cold plunge tub were so awesome and worth the money we spent as a large group to stay here. This place is SO big. We had a group of 10 and still had space to spare with all of the rooms and different areas to hang out in the house. The basement was great too! The ping pong and shuffleboard tables were great to have and made for a fun time. Christiana was awesome too! She was incredibly responsive and so easy to communicate with. We had a bunch of questions pre trip and she answered all of them with ease and comfort. For the amenities, we had to sign an extra liability waiver to use the amenities because of the potential dangers of overusing the sauna and other amenities, and she made that process so easy! We were able to get it sorted with all of our guests in minutes! I would highly recommend staying here again and hope to stay here again the next time we go to the Poconos!

What a beautiful place! A very comfortable & well appointed home away from home. Feels brand new; bright; charming; a few blocks away from great restaurants and the riverwalk right out the front door! In a word… Excellent! Thanks for hosting us!

I was overly pleased with this house. They provide small things that you may have forgotten. Like shampoo and toothbrushes. Each bedroom has an extra heater, fan, extra blankets, and a little beverage refrigerator. The top floor space is like a cute little apartment.They really tried to think of anything you may or may not need. So it was easy to be comfortable there.Perfect place for medium to extra large size families. Enjoyed sitting on porch. A beautiful cherry blossom tree lives in the front yard. Great neighborhood vibes. Close to NYC. 30 minutes from Central Park. If you have a vehicle, free parking in the driveway is super convenient. The hosts are sweet. You are not bothered by the apartment below. We would definitely book again.

I hosted Christmas for my family here and Abigail was super flexible with our check-out time which helped a lot because I had my parents come in the morning and that added time for us to celebrate together. The house was gorgeous, the beds were comfortable, and bathrooms so modern. The house was straight out of a magazine. It was a peaceful stay and the Christmas decor (including a tree filly decorated) made it perfect for our holiday! ❤️🎄⛄️❄️ *My only concerns were that the roads in the community aren't paved so driving up to the house was a little challenging. I did slide and get stuck going up the road as I drove to the house. We did have to walk through the snow a bit because the steps had snow and there wasn't a path to the front door, but it wasn't that big of a deal. The ease of booking this stay and beauty of the home more than made up for those very small inconveniences. Thank you Abigail for a lovely stay! We would love to stay again sometime! (:

Muy buen alojamiento. La ubicación es excelente, tanto para recorrer la zona como para ir a cualquier parte de Manhattan porque tiene estaciones de metro muy cercanas. La habitación cumple con lo necesario y esta todo muy limpio. El desayuno es un punto muy a favor, es una bebida caliente y algo para comer a elección, no es un desayuno abundante pero si muy rico y de buena calidad, y salís del hotel listo para recorrer!

Barbara's place was exactly what I needed for a Wilmington getaway as a solo traveler on foot. A short cab ride from Amtrak station to a beautiful block in a diverse neighborhood (rainbow and patriotic flags), very walkable to food halls, nice restaurants, local parks, historical sights, enjoy downtown Wilmington while feeling at home in your own space. You have access to a private nicely lit backyard with umbrella and seating area if you want to chill outside at night or get some air without leaving the space. All amenities were as listed, the bed was big and cozy, bathroom super clean w a shower head that lights up (cool) and the nice touches are snacks/goodies and bottles of water really helped. A great value and one I'd come back to, the icing on the cake is Barbara as a host is very kind and accomodating, there if you need her but also leaves you to enjoy your stay. 5 stars.

I felt that Allison’s place was very clean, neat, and had anything that I could’ve needed. She also sent me a message, letting me know that if I didn’t need anything to let her know. Since they did such a good job with making sure everything needed was there I had no need to contact her. The next time I come to New York, I will definitely try to find her place.

We hebben het fijn gehad in het appartement van Yolima en Maria. We voelden ons zeer welkom (ook door de boodschappen die er al waren voor een eerste ontbijt!) en Maria hielp ons met tips voor de bus naar Manhattan, die om de paar minuten vlakbij het appartement stopt. Rustige buurt maar ook binnen 20 minuten in Manhattan! We hebben genoten in Manhattan en bij Yolima en Maria.

We had a fantastic time at Lisbeth’s place which is very well-connected to public transport (a 5’-walk from the Path train) and located in a very nice quiet neighboourhood. The appartment is well-equipped with essentials such as towels, sheets, toilet paper, paper towels or dishwasher tablets being fully at your disposal. Finally the communication with the hosts went very well, they always replied to all our questions with a fast responsive time. All in all we very much enjoyed our stay in lovely Jersey City and NYC, highly recommending visiting in spring when the city blooms:) Marek & Katarina

This was a great place in a great location. Easily walkable to historical sites with lots of great local shops and restaurants. Really enjoyed the neighborhood. The apartment was perfect for our family of four with plenty of space and thoughtful amenities left by the hosts. Then included parking was a huge help. Would definitely stay again!

We chose this location for it's proximity to New York City and that it was pet friendly. There are special touches, such as body wash and shampoo in the shower, head towels to use after washing your hair plus much more. The kitchen has new appliances and a Keurig stocked with K-cup pods and a full array of dishes and cooking ware. The home is spotlessly clean. The one bedroom has a comfortable mattress and another sleeper sofa in the extra room. There are plenty of extra towels, sheets and bedding. When we arrived, there were dog bowls set up with a treat that Karina left for our French Bulldog. He was so excited with his gift. There is wonderful Polish grocery store about a block from the home with a wonderful selection of Polish foods and treats. We stocked up before heading home. The NJ transit station is an easy walk and a short ride to NY Penn station. The train station also has a parking lot that has a low 24 hour fee if you want to park instead of walk.

If I could give Grace and her place 100 stars I would! Grace made me feel right at home! She was so welcoming and kind. Her place was so peaceful, clean, and comfortable. She went above and beyond. I can’t say enough great things about this place and host! If you get the chance to stay here, consider yourself lucky!

I don’t even know where to begin! William was an AMAZING host. The first place my husband and I booked canceled last minute and William had no problem accommodating us. We are able to check in at 7pm after making the reservation around 6pm. The pictures do not do this place justice. William set up the sauna for us to use which was a truly relaxing experience. I could talk to William for hours, we had lots of conversation about various topics. The next morning he made us breakfast. We had bacon and eggs with croissants and coffee and OJ. This was a beautiful stay and it was well worth the money. William was just the cherry on top! I will definitely be staying here again!

Outstanding. I stayed here for a couple of weeks during my relocation from another state. Cathy and George were extremely helpful and welcoming, giving me privacy while also making themselves available to assist my transition. They were a huge help and made such a difference to my transition. Lovely couple with a delightful family. Small touches such as home-baked goodies and well-stocked breakfast set-up made a nice difference. Nicely furnished and convenient to restaurants, etc.

Really cool very old house. I LOVED the extremely soft 100% cotton sheets!! what a joy and very rare. Also really appreciated the snacks!! check in was easy and the block is pretty. there are extra toiletries in the bathroom if you forgot something. I'm actually allergic to cats, but there was no cat smell/allergen at all. would stay again.

Daniella, her husband David and her adorable little Rocky made the perfect hosts for our two night stay. We actually hardly ever saw them so it was very private. Daniella went out of her way to spoil us with her special touches such as: - morning coffee presented with exotic flowers and delicious mini quiches served on her deck. - The cozy robes and bamboo slippers The accommodations were very “sprawling “ as the extra room, the outdoor porches and deck allows 2 people to spread out. It’s the most beautiful l, yet cozy home I’ve had the pleasure of staying in and I’ve stayed in several nice air b and bs. If you’re going to that area just book here. You’ll love it!

Gloria and her family were gracious, respectful and attentive. The accommodations were clean, and they served a delicious homemade breakfast! It was a delightful stay!

This place is truly a magical oasis. Highly recommend booking!! The home is gorgeous and welcoming - every room feels serene and peaceful - and the hosts are incredibly thoughtful, respectful, and generous. There are so many luxury touches! The bedrooms have every item you could possibly want, the bathroom is a spa escape, and the library and meditation space spark inspiration and feel so grounding. Above and beyond communication and interactions with the hosts. Incredible stay!

Alex and Sarah were super helpful with clear instructions and a binder full of info, including some awesome local spots to check out. The stay was amazing, it honestly felt like a home away from home. As someone who’s pretty introverted, I really appreciated all the privacy. Also, it was super clean, so no worries about any unwanted pests tagging along. Thank you Alex and Sarah for such a great stay!
