My stay at Pratik’s property in Nainital was extremely wonderful. The scenic views from the property were really mesmerising and beautiful giving a peaceful and calmness vibe. Pratik was very helpful in everything we asked for and is really a great host. I would highly recommend this place if you are visiting nainital and looking for a property at a peak with worth-wile views.

This experience at Ashok Lall's house has been my best so far... an architect's house so well thaught that, apart from the great decoration, furniture, everything personal of high and subtle taste, every detail - that you slowly discover while living the place - perfectly fits and reflect the landscape : only the last day of the full week I spent there did I discover that the sunset reflected in the window miror of the bathroom, or that the garden transat's shape reproduced the curves of the hills visible on top... Perfect place to rest and feel at home, read, write, walking distance from the lake (a good physical condition needed) and other forest experiences. Rohit cooks delicious food, takes you places on his bike or by foot, or by boat... wild animals spotted... Will definitely come back with all my family.

I recently stayed at Langdale Lodge, a charming old British bungalow in Nainital that exudes heritage. The homestay, with guest rooms adjacent to the main house where owner Rohan resides, offers an authentic experience. Rohan was exceptionally communicative, responsive, and proactive, and his family warmly welcomed us. My room was clean, comfortable, and though it lacked a window, it never felt claustrophobic. The basic yet well-maintained bathroom provided hot water and quality toiletries. The location is ideal—situated in the heart of the city with a pleasant, walkable path to the market. A highlight was the home-cooked meals: arriving hungry around 4 PM, we were promptly served delicious poha, parathas, and chai, while dinner and breakfast were equally satisfying (meals are not included). Local transport was also arranged, making it easier for my elderly parents. Overall, a delightful, hassle-free stay that I highly recommend.

They should advertise the animals that live on the property! We met dabboo and Rocky and the cats Kuku and Sintu and it was a delight (They are completely non interfering unless you're interested in hanging with them and we were). We were fed very tasty food made by Maya and the room has an excellent view. It is a great spot for the lazy and active alike. We saw many many birds just staring out of the window and the snow capped peaks were visible too!

It is very rare that you find a stay where you come out feeling warmer and inspired. Manzar is that rarity. The place is picture perfect! The views are stunning. The house is surrounded by nature and flowers but not in the curated way. Waking up to the bird songs is magical. Rooms are beautifully designed and every small corner is a piece of art. All your needs are considered and provided for. But what makes the place that rarity is our host, Achla ji and her people. She is warm, considerate, kind, patient, fiercely independent and progressive. As if that wasn't enough, she is an outstanding cook! Then there is Jaya didi. Her help. A warm and loving person. Always ready with a smile and a chat. Dinesh bhaiya is a mostly quite and yet forever eager to help young man. And then there is Coffee! The resident dog. I don't think I've seen a calmer and sweeter pupper! Loves attention and pets and fetch. I think we left a part of our hearts with her. Cannot wait to go back!

We had a wonderful stay at Karan's place. It is away from the usual tourist hubs within a short driving distance to Sattal and Bhimtal and has a great view of the valley from the terrace and balcony, which are open to guests. The caretaker, Mr Saraj was very polite and attentive to all our requests and Karan kindly provided an early check in. The room was clean and comfortable.

My experience with Lakehouse Home Stay was simply amazing. I'll try to describe my experience in detail from start to finish. Booking and Checkin: Anuj was extremely helpful even before booking the property, he cleared all my doubts with fast responses and since the price was fluctuating he assisted me to book at the right time so that I get the best price. I booked the place for 1 guest and at the last moment on the same morning of Checkin, a friend of mine decided to join me and Anuj was quick in assisting me to change the reservation details. He provided me with Prakash's number (Care taker of the property) in advance so that I could contact him to guide us to the property. Upon reaching, Prakash helped us with the luggage since you have to climb a lot of stairs to reach the property as mentioned in the description and let me tell you that 150 stair climb is so worth it when you witness the view from the balcony. Location: The property is perfectly situated, it's right above the mall road so you get a great view of the lake, at the same time it's high enough that you can stay in peace away from the busy mall road. Stay: The property is spacious and can easily accommodate a family of 4-5. Washrooms are clean and well maintained, a geyser is installed in the kitchen and has connections to the bathroom as well if you need warm water, there is also a dedicated kitchen space however not furnished, if you're carrying your own cooking equipment then make use of it by all means. Apart from the property, Prakash was very helpful and always available when needed. He can cook you meals on demand although they can be slightly expensive I'd say, we got 1 Maggi and 1 bread Omelette prepared and it cost us ₹250 but it's worth it considering that Prakash is available at all times for requests like these. He also offered to re-heat any type of take away food that we get packed from a restaurant or collect any order that we want to get delivered since the property is situated 150 stairs above the mall road and delivery guy will not deliver it at your door step. (Of course we didn't ask him to do all this but it was amazing to see that he himself offered us this favor). The complimentary breakfast was great. First day we got Aalu Choley (Potatoe with chick peas) and Poori with Tea/coffee on the side. The next day we got stuffed parathas and poha along with tea/coffee. I almost forgot that main attraction of this place is the Balcony swing that you can chill on in the night or during the day it's just that good combined with the beautiful view. Also, a good wifi connection is available if you need to use it for your office needs. Checkout: I wasn't feeling well on the day of checkout and it was nice to see that Prakash didn't rush us for the checkout and at the same time was kind enough to hold our luggage bags with him for us to pick up later. If that wasn't enough he also dropped the luggage to us downstairs at the mall road when we were leaving the town. Also during the stay it was nice to see that Anuj also messaged to check on us if everything is going well and if we were comfortable. Overall, I'm really happy with the place and if you can manage the stairs then I'd recommend this property 10/10. P.S. If you have rented a vehicle or have one of your own you can also reach the property from one road above as mentioned in the description, it's much more convenient than climbing 150 stairs.

The place felt right at home and it was peaceful, calm, and serene. There was a lovely view from the drawing room and it was quite beautiful. We enjoyed our stay. It’s a private property and was easy to find. A proper cottage for a family and a big group. The caretaker was really helpful and provided really good service and cooked home cooked meals that were very healthy and tasty. Overall a must stay.
