We had a big group rent Cheri’s place for New Year’s Eve. A group of friends and a couple of us brought our babies. Cheri was 10/10 amazing. The house was even better than the photos! We were all so in love with the space. Tons of room to spread out, lots of activities and added amenities. The location is great, it is super close to Colville so we were able to get all of our groceries with ease. All we could talk about was when we could come back!

This place was beautiful. Our special needs son, TikTok @Super_solo_mon, loved the hot tub and all the space to run and explore. Lori was very friendly and gave very clear instructions, the house had all the amenities plus more. 100% recommend The Gathering Porch, can’t wait for our next visit!

Loved this place and loved the hosts. Fantastic folks, for sure. We were turkey hunting and it was perfect. They even helped out with some tips for local spots. Really enjoyed Jim and Alice and their cabin. We will be back!

Absolutely beautiful landscape and natural getaway. Perfect if you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle and get more nature in your life.

Excellent host, beautiful and comfortable house, stocked with amenities. We really enjoyed our stay and will back! The house is tucked into the hills surrounding Colville. Theirs is a neighbor out to the front, but the house is still very private backing up to state land. Town is a short drive and very convenient. Host was communicating with me before we arrived and was very quick to respond to questions. Excellent all the way around!

We recently took our first turkey hunting trip and were looking for a cozy home for our family — and we found exactly that. It’s easy to see why this location is so highly rated. Our hosts were friendly, communicative, and accommodating. The guest house was clean, well-stocked with essentials, and spacious enough for everyone to relax and connect. We even got advice on areas to look check for gobblers and was given a physical map to use by our host! The property is conveniently located just a few miles from a Super Walmart and town, and no more than 30 minutes from Colville National Forest and other prime hunting areas. Thank you to our hosts for making our first trip to northeastern Washington a memorable one!

This is a nice, quiet place to stay with a pond near to the house. The host was very responsive and helpful and checkin and checkout was easy.

Jim and Rori are thoughtful and kind hosts - the communication was excellent. Rori knocked on our door one morning and announced baby goats had just been born. Wow! What a thrill to go see the newborns and watch Rori take care of the momma goat and babies. Rori also allowed us to bottle feed a one month old goat. Jim and Rori have adorable chickens, sheep, goats and three friendly dogs. We were allowed to interact with the animals whenever we wanted. Jim gave us a tour of his awesome wood shop - his talent is amazing. Two of their dogs guided us on a long lovely walk in the snow. The property is quiet and peaceful - the views from the porch and house are beautiful and soothing. When we arrived the frig was stocked with beverages - which was really thoughtful. Jim made sure we had a large pot to make soup and they also left us some delicious candy. This place is a little slice of heaven. We had a wonderful time!
