The Strawberry Box - luxury eco barn conversion

The Strawberry Box is a luxuriously converted old tractor barn located on our working strawberry farm in rural Suffolk. South facing with extensive views across the rolling countryside, it is self contained and private, perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday, a romantic break or a base for exploring the rich heritage and beautiful villages around us. There are good pubs within comfortable walking distance and footpaths and narrow lanes to explore close by - or just take a wander around the farm.

Dedham Vale Guesthouse in the Stour Valley

From the well-furnished bedrooms that share an immaculate bathroom are views of Stoke church, made famous by John Constable, and Polstead Village.

Old Maltings Annex

The annex is a lovely relaxing place to stay. Accessed by the main front door one then enters one's own private space. Recently converted it offers a fantastic double room. It is very light and airy. Fully heated so nice and cosy. There is a television with sky and wifi, table and chairs and basin. Downstairs there is a bathroom, with heated towel rail and luxury bath with hand held shower. twin room downstairs next to the bathroom. NO ACTUAL KITCHEN!! fridge, toaster, kettle

Edies retreat is a comfortable, self contained studio apartment, set in a small hamlet of houses at the end of a lane adjacent to a farmers field and apple orchard, on the edge of Dedham Vale AONB. Perfect for relaxing or a more active holiday. Walking, cycling and canoeing can all be enjoyed locally. There are plenty of fascinating local villages and towns to visit if history is your thing. We can suggest various itineraries for you and help you arrange your chosen activities.

In the centre of the beautiful village on the Essex-Suffolk border. You’ll love staying in a medieval house in the heart of Constable country, above the picturesque former post office. The village is in the heart of the Stour Valley Area of Natural Beauty, and is surrounded by the River Stour. Self contained, private accommodation, you'll have the entire annexe to yourself, with two bedrooms, a living/dining area, bathroom and fantastic views of the village.

Idyllic house and gardens on estuary

A beautiful large farmhouse, dating from approximately 1600 and listed Grade II, in acres of idyllic gardens and overlooking a mile-wide river estuary. There is direct access from the bottom of the garden onto the ‘sea wall’ along the river, for walks and wonderful birdwatching. There is a duckpond (fenced) by the house and chickens (collect the eggs), and a large summerhouse with veranda in the garden, as well as a paddock of alpacas!

The Stables At Sprotts Farm

Sitting in 10 acers of private grounds, Sprotts Farm is the perfect countryside getaway. The Stables is a beautifully converted barn that was completely updated in 2020. This cosy cottage sleeps four guests in a double room with a WC and a twin room. The Stables boast a large walk in shower. Looking forward to meeting you! PS: we have a pond in the main garden and our chickens are free range and wonder freely around the gardens.
