Our self-contained studio apartment has a shower room, store room, well equipped kitchen, superking bed ( Available as 2x3ft. singles if required), a terrace & garden overlooking open countryside with uninterrupted views of the Cleveland Hills & Captain Cook's Monument. It is a 3 min drive/15min walk to the bustling town of Stokesley where there are restaurants, cafes, pubs, shops, supermarkets, take-aways, a weekly Friday market and a popular Farmers' Market on the 1st Saturday of the month.

The outside area of the cottage includes a raised platform & fire pit for your own use. Whilst it appears to be set in a remote rural location, it is in fact incredibly well-situated to be able to visit local attractions whilst being easily accessible from the main road: A1M . “A hidden gem definitely worth staying here!”

Hillfoot Cottage is a cosy and comfortable 350 yr old cottage which began life as a pig sty in the quiet country village of Yearby, near Redcar. Offering peace and tranquility with local walks on your doorstep. Located a short drive to the seaside town of Redcar and Market town of Guisborough, within 1/2 hours drive to the North York Moors National Park and Whitby and within 1 hours drive to the Yorkshire Dales. An abundance of wild birds are to be found in the gardens of our cottage.

2 bedroom cottage on our 450 strong alpaca farm. Stunning, peaceful location in the beautiful Tyne Valley. Surrounded by fields, trees, alpacas and fresh air. 0.6 miles to Hadrian’s Wall. Close House, Matfen Hall, airport, Newcastle, Corbridge and Hexham nearby. No pets, smoking and not suitable for children. An ideal stopover for cyclists, walkers or lovers of the great outdoors. Mid-way point on the C2C cycle route. A welcome retreat for your weary body and after hard days work! Hot showers, comfy beds and awesome views. Bedding provided. If you are travelling light we can provide towels (£2 pp), hot drinks and a continental breakfast (£12pp) for you to help yourself in your self-catering kitchen. Please ask in advance. We can also offer a home cooked dinner and bags transfer.

We are situated on the Cleveland way walk and ideal for a 2 night stay where you can catch up on laundry and rest awhile. There are many restaurants , cafes and bars close by in the town.
