Wij verbleven een week in het aappartement van Daniël. Het is een huis met een volstrekt persoonlijke uitstraling waardoor wij ons meteen volledig thuis voelden. De kamers zijn smaakvol ingericht met een combinatie van kunst en vintage, en er is een complete bibliotheek van boeken en CD's die de zeer brede interesse van de gastheer benadrukken. Het appartement zelf is schoon, warm, vol licht en biedt een waanzinnig mooi uitzicht op de skyline van Reykjavik. Als je geluk hebt is er zicht op het noorderlicht vanaf het balkon. Wij hebben heerlijk geslapen op het prima bed. Het appartement bevindt zicht op 10 minuten rijden van het centrum in een rustige buurt. De zee zit op 5 minuten lopen en biedt een prachtig uitzicht op de kustlijn en de oceaan. Daniel zelf is een enthousiaste gastheer die zijn best doet om je thuis te laten voelen. Hij gaf een volledige rondleiding door het huis en vervolgde met aanbevelingen waar je het beste heen kon gaan in de buurt. Zeer tevreden :)

Sesselja provides all the information you need before you arrive and is very responsive if you have any questions or problems. A small problem with the shower was solved within a few hours, with the gift of a good dessert! The flat is well equipped, so I didn't lack anything during my week. The city centre can be reached on foot in 15 minutes and there are plenty of shops within walking distance. Thank you for everything!

Ásta was a wonderful host! Very responsive and helpful. She very kindly let us check-in early, which was a huge help and relief. We enjoyed our visit from Malda and loved getting some cuddles 😻 It was a great place to start our trip in Iceland! Could not recommend her place more - convenient parking, easily walkable and quiet.

Andri was a great host and the apartment is in such a perfect location, in walking distance to anything worth doing within Reykjavik. We arrived early in the morning and he very kindly allowed us to check in early. The instructions for getting in and accessing the parking garage were very easy to follow as well The apartment itself was the perfect accomodation for our week stay in the city as well. Super clean and the location was ideal!

Great place with homey feeling. Perfect parking spots. 30 mins away from the famous Seljalandsfors Waterfall. Supermarket just 2 mins away from the accommodation

Had a quick 2 night stay and this was a perfect location. Minutes from the airport, restaurants and grocery. House had thoughtful items that made the trip easier (lots of charging converters, gaming for the kids, etc). Great stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Oli’s apartment in Reykjavik! The place was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the amazing coffee machine made our mornings even better. The location is great, just a short walk from a public swimming pool with thermal baths, a supermarket, and a bakery with delicious bread and viennoiseries. Oli was a wonderful host. He sent us a thoughtful list of recommendations for things to do in Reykjavik and the surrounding area, which we really appreciated. He also checked in with us regularly to make sure everything was going well. One of the highlights of our stay was spotting the Northern Lights right from the kitchen window, truly unforgettable! We would love to revisit Iceland in the winter (dec-feb) to enjoy the snowy scenery, and if Oli’s place is available, we would absolutely stay there again.

This is one of the most beautiful airbnb I’ve ever been to. Everything was just perfect. Very easy to check in. The house is decorated very nicely. I love the plants. The house is very close to Reykjavik city centre. Just approximately 20mins drive. And just 30 mins to the international airport. The host even helped me to mail my postcards! They are so friendly and kind. Highly recommend this airbnb to everyone. Really want to comeback again.

Cute apartment in a quiet residential neighborhood about 3 kilometers from the touristy part of Reykjavik. Clean, quiet, very homey and comfortable. Reynir was super responsive. Great place to end our vacation.

durch Adam und sein schönes zuhause hat der aufenthalt in reykjavik umso mehr spass gemacht. Ein gemütliches Bett und schönes Zimmer. Ich bin Adam sehr dankbar, er war allzeit bereit für Fragen und Antworten. Er ist interessiert. Ich habe mich nicht fremd gefühlt. Herzlichen Dank

Had an amazing time staying Pétur’s place. Plenty of space for my group of 6 adults. Location was great, right by a domestic airport that didnt seem to be used much because I never heard a plane take off or land. Location is great, within 5-7 mins driving to the downtown area. You definitely need a car but Id say that for all of Reykjavic in general. Plenty of parking, we had 2 cars. The bathroom upstairs has heated floors, which was great during the winter. For NYE it was perfect because we could see fireworks from all of the town and we got really lucky and saw the Northern Lights very clearly from his place, probably not common, but it was amazing! Magical trip, will def stay there again.

I had an amazing experience at this Airbnb! Birgir was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The space was spotless, cozy, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was our Iceland story time with Birgir—his captivating stories gave us a deeper appreciation for the country and its culture. His passion for the environment was truly inspiring, motivating me to become more proactive about global warming and environmental responsibility. Birgir also recommended trying an Icelandic swimming pool, and we absolutely loved it! This was a truly memorable stay, and I can’t recommend it enough!

Wir, eine Gruppe von 7 Personen, durften eine ganze Woche das Club House und das umliegende Anwesen des Hvammsvik Spa genießen. Das Club House ist eines von 5 Häusern und bietet alle Annehmlichkeiten und vieles mehr! Die Lage ist unbeschreiblich, es ist einfach ein Traum! Alles war richtig sauber, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bei jedem Wetter urgemütlich. Die Schlafzimmer waren allesamt mit sehr guten Betten, Kissen und Bademänteln ausgestattet. Die Bäder sehr sauber und mit allem Zubehör bestückt (Handtücher, Toilettenpapier, Body wash, Shampoo etc.) Am Morgen ist der Blick aus dem Fenster einfach wunderbar und am Abend tanzen die Nordlichter am Himmel! Noch nie haben wir so tolle Nordlichter gesehen. Das Hvammsvik Spa ist unweit vom Haus entfernt und es ist ein Juwel. Mein Mann und ich waren zum 19. mal in Island, lieben dieses wunderschöne Land und haben stets tolle Unterkünfte bewohnt… aber dieser Ort, dieses Club House ist etwas ganz besonderes. 💙❤️

This place was perfect! 4 adult and 4 kids. It was absolutely beautiful home and the owners were so responsive and helpful. The house is walking distance to food markets and some restaurants and only 20 min drive from downtown Reykjavik. Walking trails all along the area. We could not have picked a better place to stay for our visit to Iceland, highly recommend this place!

Burma’s beautiful home is ideal for anyone who wants two bathrooms (hard to find in Iceland) and plenty of space. It’s in a quaint small town very close to the Golden Circle and not far from Selfoss, which has more substantial amenities. Easy drive to Gullfoss and Geysir, and a small grocery is within walking distance of the house. The views from the sunroom are beautiful. The kitchen is modern, functional, and spacious. The outdoor area, including the hot tub, is wonderful in the evening. The nearby restaurants, including those in Reykholt, are wonderful! We highly recommend this place for people who want extra space and don’t want to stay in the busy capital city. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderful time at Himri! The place was huge and everyone had lots of fun with the gym and game room. The surroundings were peaceful and beautiful and it was a joy to wake up every morning and see that. The location was great close to the Golden circle and Reykjavík. The beds were super comfortable. The hot tub was relaxing after a day of sightseeing. We felt so lucky to be there!

This house was perfect. The hostesses met us when we arrived, gave us instructions on things they wanted us to make sure we knew (for safety and such due to the temperatures), and spent around 2 hours giving us a tour and history of the house. It was absolutely perfect for what we needed and they were so thoughtful with all of their recommendations for activities with our children. We 100% recommend this house to others and we will be coming back in the future!
