Great house for a group, even better than the pictures and exceeded expectations! Nice outdoor space. Convenient location with ample parking. Would come back!

Communication was excellent, always helpful with tips and recommendations, home was immaculately clean , great location easy walking distance to the castle, parking was available on road great place to stay!

Me and my partner went away for a couple of nights and wanted to extend our visit somewhere and luck would have it we found the cute cottage! We felt so comfortable and at home here! The hosts were fantastic and welcoming! The views were beautiful and surroundings were stunning! Couldn’t ask for anything more! Would definitely recommend and will be returning! Incredible place to go with kids. So much outdoor space and things to do in the garden, including the cutest fairy house! Also a 5 min walking distance from an awesome family friendly pub.

Thanks so much, this was a wonderful stay! My family stayed here the night before my wedding and the night of the wedding (8 people). My cousins loved the rope swing in the garden. We saw squirrels, a bunny and lots of birds in the garden. My mum: It was perfect - comfy beds, full of character, nice touch having toiletries in the lovely bathrooms. Great to have spaces for people to have their own quiet space - we didn't need all the sitting rooms, but would have if we'd had 14 people there. Amazing kitchen space with everything we need. Lovely touch providing bacon, tomatoes, bread milk. Lovely grounds, peaceful situation, gorgeous building, tastefully decorated. Instructions about arriving/leaving were perfect. It was the perfect place for such a special occasion. Would definitely recommend it to someone else. My dad: Loads of parking. It had a wow factor driving in - large grounds & attractive building.

We had a wonderful stay! The setting was absolutely beautiful—peaceful, scenic, and perfect for a romantic escape. There was so much to enjoy right at the accommodation—the aqua centre was a real treat, and we had great fun relaxing in the snooker room. The space was clean, cosy, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel extra special. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made everything smooth from start to finish. We’d definitely come back and highly recommend it to couples looking for a romantic and relaxing stay in a unique location.

We had the most amazing stay at the cabin! The location is absolutely stunning — tucked away on a peaceful farm, completely secluded and surrounded by nature. The cabin is super cosy and really well thought out, with loads of lovely touches like marshmallows for the fire, and plenty of logs and firelighters provided. There’s no indoor shower, but the outdoor bath more than makes up for it — the water gets really warm and it's such a relaxing experience. The area is perfect for walking and trail running, with beautiful routes right from the doorstep. There's also a great little pub about 20 minutes away on foot. Edd was a fantastic host — communication was spot on, and his instructions were clear and detailed. We absolutely loved our stay, would 100% come back, and have already recommended it to friends and family!

This was our second time staying at The Barn, and it certainly won't be our last. We appreciate how well-equipped it is with modern conveniences while still holding onto its original charm. The furnishings are so inviting, the bed and linens are exceptionally comfortable, and the location is perfect. Having our own private courtyard was a wonderful bonus. We also truly enjoyed the delicious biscotti upon our arrival – it was the best I’ve ever had! We are already looking forward to our next visit. Sincerely, Corinne
