The Swallow's Nest

Please do come here - If you're interested in growing your own food, keeping bees, hiking, food preservation, nature, chickens & geese, bats, birdsong & silence (hens/geese/wildlife permitting!). The Swallow's Nest is a tiny barn which sits between Slievenamon & the Comeragh mountains, in the glorious valley known as The Honeylands but is only a ten minute drive from Clonmel, Tipperary's County town.

Built in 1857, this unique space is the former goods shed to a converted railway station, our family home. Separate from the main house with your own private entrance, balcony, plenty of parking, it is double glazed, central heated and self-contained. Set in 9 acres, it offers tranquillity and calm. 5 minutes by car is the beautiful, historic, heritage town of Lismore with its magnificent castle gardens. Walking, water sports, distilleries, and the stunning coast are all within easy access.
